في إطار حرص وزارة الأوقاف والشؤون الإسلامية بدولة قطر على كل ما يخدم كتاب الله تعالى من علوم ووسائل تعليمية متميزة قامت بإصدار هذا التطبيق التعليمي لكتاب الدروس الهجائية إصدار قسم القرآن الكريم وعلومه بإدارة الدعوة والإرشاد الديني مستفيدة من أحدث التقنيات في تعليم القرآن الكريم، حيث عكف فريق من الوزارة على إنتاج هذا التطبيق بما يتناسب مع التطور التكنولوجي ويخدم الهدف الأساسي للكتاب.

يهدف هذا التطبيق إلى تعليم قواعد القراءة والتي تتمثل في ثلاث قواعد: 
١- قاعدة الحروف المتحركة.
٢- قاعدة الحروف الساكنة.
٣-قاعدة الحروف المشددة.

تعليم قواعد التلاوة عمليا من حيث تجويد الحروف ومعرفة الوقوف.
احتوى التطبيق على ثمانية عشر درسا وزعت على ثلاث مستويات:
المستوى الأول: اشتمل على الحروف المفردة  والمركبة  والحروف المتحركة والتنوين وتهجي الكلمات٫
المستوى الثاني: اشتمل على حروف المد واللين والحروف الساكنة.
المستوى الثالث: اشتمل على الحروف المشددة.
