[운행제한차량의 단속 기준]

운행제한차량의 단속 기준은 다음 각 호를 초과하는 차량 (트레일러 연결차와 세미트레일러 연결차를 포함한다) 및 건설기계에 적용

1. 차량의 중량이 축중 10톤 또는 총중량 40톤을 초과하는 차량. (다만, 계측기 및 측정오차 등을 감안하여 축중 및 총중량이 위 기준의 1할이내 초과된 경우에는 이를 허용할 수 있다.)

2. 차량의 폭이 2.5미터, 높이가 4.0미터(도로의 보전과 통행의 안전에 지장이 없다고 관리청이 인정하여 고시한 도로노선의 경우에는 4.2미터로 한다), 길이가 16.7미터를 초과하는 차량

3. 제1호 및 제2호의 규정에 불구하고 도로관리청이 도로의 구조보전과 통행의 위험을 방지하기 위하여 필요하다고 인정한 차량으로서 도로법 제77조 및 시행령 제79조의3에서 정하는 소정의 절차를 거쳐 제한하는 차량
