衛星資料:

風雲二號氣象衛星是中國研製的第一代地球同步軌道氣象衛星。其主要任務是對地觀測,每小時獲取一次對地觀測的可見光、紅外線和水氣的雲圖。風雲-2D衛星於2006年12月8日由長征三號B火箭從西昌衛星發射中心發射升空,位於東經86.5度的赤道上空,距離地面約35,800公里。這顆衛星緊隨地球的自轉而運行,相對於地面是靜止不動的(故名地球同步衛星),因此可以24小時不斷拍攝地球上同一地區的雲圖。 圖像動畫能令觀者清楚掌握雲團的移動及變化。

MTSAT是日本基於支持差分全球定位系統(DGPS)的多功能運輸衛星導航系統,目的是通過GPS系統的補充報告,改善信號的可靠性和準確性。這顆氣象衛星是與地球同步,位於東經145度的赤道上空,距離地面約35,800公里。這顆衛星緊隨地球的自轉而運行,相對於地面是靜止不動的(故名地球同步衛星),因此可以24小時不斷拍攝地球上同一地區的雲圖。 圖像動畫能令觀者清楚掌握雲團的移動及變化。
