There is a problem with the display in iPad1.  The display is wider then the screen meaning that you can only see the picture in the screen while the title is off the screen except the leftmost one character.  When displaying the detail, only the left portion shows, the right side is off the screen and you cannot scroll or pan right to see the rest.  This problem happens 95% of the time. In the odd times, the display shows perfectly.  Dying for a fix.

Doesn't work on my new iPhone 4s neither. Can only view the title pages. Can't open any of the contents.  Am I missing a step?
