לוחות הפעלים הם כלי עזר חשוב והכרחי להקניית יסודות נכונים של השפה העברית. לא מעט ספרי לוחות פעלים יצאו לאור בשפה העברית, ועם זאת נדמה לנו שאפליקציה זו מייצגת משהו אחר, מתוחכם וחדיש יותר. בראש ובראשונה, המטרה הייתה ליצור מוצר איכותי וייחודי ללומד השפה העברית בבואו ללמוד ולהבין את עקרונות בניית הפעלים ונטייתם. החידושים הרבים באפליקציה זו, הדקדוקיים והחזותיים, מטרתם אינה רק לשוות לה מראה נאה ואיכותי, אלא הם כלי עזר חשוב ויעיל מאין כמוהו לתהליך הלימוד. 

מאפיינים ייחודיים:
◄ ללא ספק, העבודה הרבה והמעניינת ביותר שנעשתה באפליקציה הייתה בצביעת אותיות השורש בצבע אדום – דבר המבליט באופן יוצא מן הכלל את החוקיות ואת המבנה הייחודי של כל גזרה בבניינים השונים. 
◄ סימון צורות חליפיות. במקומות שונים במערכת נטיית הפועל התירה האקדמיה שימוש בשתי צורות חליפיות (ולעתים גם יותר). צורות אלה הובאו בין סוגריים צומדים {...} (בדרך כלל סומנה רק ההברה הנוגעת לעניין.
◄ כתיב מלא וכתיב חסר. כאמור לעיל, כל הצורות מובאות תחילה בכתיב מלא מנוקד, ואם יש צורך הצורה מובאת גם בכתיב "דקדוקי" חסר ומנוקד בין סוגריים מרובעים.
◄ סימון מקום ההטעמה במילה. במקומות שבהם הטעמה שונה מבדילה בין צורות שווֹת-כתיב סומנה ההברה המוטעמת.
◄ הדגמת קריאה רהוטה של פעלים. כדי להדגים לקורא, הן דובר העברית הן לומד העברית, את דרך הגיית הפעלים, בחרנו 21 לוחות מבניינים שונים, וקריין וקריינית קוראים בקול את כל הצורות המופיעות באותם לוחות.
