In order to checking in, you need a Chinese phone number. If you have one, they are gonna ask for your Chinese ID (which I don’t have because I’m a foreigner). No option to add passport details. Because of this stupid app, I couldn’t conclude my checkin online and almost missed my flight. Get an error with my Chinese number. I don’t even want to register, as I want to credit to United, a fellow Star Alliance member. Chinese airline apps are almost entirely worthless if you’re either an English speaker or foreigner.
