Better off using the WeChat/Alipay mini-app because those at least offer some level of translation. ### 1/5 — Misleading marketing *2026-05-13, version 10.23.1* The advertisements for this app are very misleading. They use large fonts to promote "Free Vouchers," making you think you’re getting a free coffee. In reality, it’s only a small discount or a free add-on that requires a full purchase. You can place orders, it’s fluid, all that. Update in 2025 removed the option to change languages so it’s stuck in 中文。 There’s no difference between the native app and the WeChat mini-app now, but WeChat actually has a translate function to attempt to help you at least. Don’t download this app. Just scan the WeChat code or search for the mini-app now. Your international Starbucks account can’t be used here anyway so you probably have it bound to your WeChat or Alipay account. Your store didn’t make my drink, I asked for a refund directly they said no refunds because I used the app?!?!?
