## What is 小火车时刻?

Little Train Time is an app specially designed to serve the people who live in Jinshan District and work in downtown Shanghai.
(Ordinary people travelling from downtown Shanghai to Jinshan by long or short distances can also use it.)

All dependent data is local, no internet connection is needed.
It can also infer your departure site through location services, which is convenient to use.
The size of the application is small, only about 5MB.

### 3.3 — 2026-08-17

1. Improved the "Current Ride" logic;
2. Added current journey progress display.

### 3.2 — 2026-08-11

1. Added Departing Soon, Running, Current Ride, and Arrived statuses to "All Trains"; location identifies the current train and journey progress when available, with timetable-based estimates as a fallback;
2. Improved direction switching, train expansion, the hour index, and haptic feedback on the "All Trains" screen;
3. Redesigned the station selectors for clearer display in English and on smaller screens;
4. Added OpenStreetMap attribution and contributor information, and updated timetable image direction labels and localisations.

### 3.1 — 2026-08-08

Improved interactions on the "All Trains" screen:

1. Added a scrollable time index bar at the bottom for quickly jumping to a specific hour;
2. Updated the English translation of "金山园区" to the official name, "Jinshanyuanqu";
3. When switching from "Timetable" to "All Trains" after the app has not been opened for a long time, the direction tab now defaults to the journey direction selected on the "Timetable" screen and automatically scrolls to the next suitable train after the current time;
4. Improved the appearance of the tab bar on iOS 18 and earlier.

### 3.0 — 2026-07-30

1. Added a new "All Trains" tab to browse the full timetable for both directions; tap the center area of a train cell to expand and view all intermediate stations;
2. Added Traditional Chinese localization support.

### 2.5 — 2026-07-01

1. Updated timetable images;
2. Added support for the new timetable effective from July 1, 2026.
