# 我为什么要做「虎虎吃短信」？
我曾深受垃圾短信的困扰，直到 iOS 11 发布了短信过滤的接口。作为一个涉足数据领域的工程师，我导出了几年里收到过的几万条短信，使用机器学习训练了一个垃圾短信的识别模型，就有了这个 App 的雏形。在后续的开发中很多热心的用户又投喂了几十万条短信样本，教会了虎虎识别更多更广阔的场景。

「虎虎吃短信」不会收集您的任何信息，更不会上传您的短信内容，如果您足够细心就会发现虎虎都不会请求网络权限，完全离线运行。
