ان جامعة الحدباء ، من جامعات الاهلية في عراقنا الحبيب، والواقعة في ربيع وشمال العراق (الموصل)، تأسست بموجب موافقة وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي بكتابها المرقم 9س /6061 في 9/10/1994م وحيازتها إجازة إستحداث الكلية الجامعة.

مدت ايديها بسخاء واحتضنت بوابة جديدة للعلوم والحضارة مؤشرة تعانق هذه المدينة مع تاريخها العريق وهي تسعى منذ تأسيسها الى إعداد الطلبة أعداد علمياً واكاديمياً ومعرفياً يرتقي بمستوى مدينة الموصل الزاخرة بالعلماء واحتضانها الطلبة من كافة محافظات العراق.
