지속가능발전(SD, Sustainable Development) 이란, "미래세대의 필요를 충족시키기 위한 잠재력을 훼손하지 않으면서, 현재 세대의 필요를 충족시키는 발전"을 의미합니다. 지속가능발전 을 위한 지표중 ‘Goals15 : LIFE ON LAND(육상생태계 보호)’를 위한 활동으로 대표적인 환경지표종인 반딧불이를 관찰하는 활동을 모바일 앱을 통하여 공유함으로써 손쉽게 환경 보호활동에 동참할 수 있는 모바일 서비스입니다. 또한 반딧불이를 아이들과 함께 관찰하는 가운데 자라나는 다음 세대에 소중한 경험을 선사할 수 있을 것으로 기대합니다.
