VectraFin is a local-first personal finance app built around time alignment and custom Hashtag hierarchy chains. Instead of forcing every item into preset categories, it lets you describe your finances in a way that matches how you think. Each item starts with a simple direction: positive means the amount increases your financial position, and negative means it decreases it. Assets, liabilities, income, spending, cash flow, valuation changes, and daily expenses can then be described with Hashtags. Hashtag hierarchy chains Create your own multi-level finance structure with ordered Hashtags, from broad themes to detailed items. Time-aligned statistics Current views only include data that has actually occurred. Future views can expand recurring entries into projections. Recurring entries Manage salary, rent, subscriptions, loans, and other repeating items. Changes apply forward from the effective date and do not rewrite past periods. Statistics and charts Review totals, Hashtag breakdowns, hierarchy-based structure, trend lines, and detailed event lists. Multiple accounts Create separate accounts for personal, family, business, or other financial contexts. Each account has its own Hashtag system. Local-first with optional iCloud Data is stored on your device by default. You can use local backup files, iCloud snapshots, or optional iCloud Sync. No registration, password, or external server is required.
