모바일 기프티콘을 선물받아 사용하려고 앱까지 설치했으나, 현재 위치를 기준으로 한 매장 검색조차 정확하지 않아 큰 불편을 겪었습니다.

더 큰 문제는 해당 기프티콘이 기재된 상품으로만 교환할 수 있고, 다른 상품으로 변경하거나 금액권처럼 사용하는 것도 불가능하다는 점입니다. 전화 주문도 받지 않고 오로지 앱으로만 주문하도록 제한해 놓았는데, 정작 앱에서 확인되는 인근 매장에서는 해당 상품을 판매하지 않는다고 합니다.

소비자가 실제로 사용할 수 있는지조차 제대로 확인되지 않은 상품의 기프티콘을 왜 발행·판매·유통하는 것인지 납득하기 어렵습니다. 사용할 방법은 막아 놓고 기프티콘 판매대금만 받는 구조처럼 느껴질 수밖에 없습니다.

판매가 불가능한 상품이라면 애초에 기프티콘이 유통되지 않도록 관리하거나, 다른 상품으로 교환 또는 환불할 수 있는 절차를 마련해야 하는 것 아닌가요? 앱 주문 과정에서 반복적으로 불편을 겪으면서 브랜드에 대한 신뢰와 이용 의사가 크게 떨어졌습니다.

해당 기프티콘을 정상적으로 사용할 수 있는 매장을 안내해 주시거나, 다른 상품으로 교환할 수 있도록 조치해 주시기 바랍니다. 사용이 불가능하다면 전액 환불 절차를 명확히 안내해 주세요. 또한 매장 검색 기능과 기프티콘 판매 상품의 실제 판매 여부가 정확히 연동되도록 개선을 요청합니다.
