Two new battlefields are open. ■ Bone Canyon A land of the dead. Enemies here rise once more after they fall, and three bosses you will meet nowhere else come knocking at your gate. ■ Siren's Gorge A sea canyon walled in by wet cliffs. Things drawn by the singing climb up out of the water. ■ Nightmare Difficulty Unlocked once every stage is cleared on Hard. It keeps Hard's conditions and adds one required challenge on top. You choose your own shackle, then build a run that can carry it. ■ Weekly Clash A weekly challenge where every lord plays the exact same run. Same enemies, same cards - only your build and your judgment separate you. The battlefield rotates each week, and surviving to wave 10 earns diamonds. Scores are kept on their own weekly leaderboard. ■ Combat You Can Read Your castle's arrows now show direction and leave a trail. Critical hits land in red, and buffs like Invulnerable, Emergency Repair, and Revival appear at the top of the screen. Monsters that once shared artwork are now told apart by color and size. ■ Balance Summoned archers now scale with your castle's attack. Once Frost reaches its slow cap, further picks extend how long enemies stay frozen. Hard mode now runs stage by stage from the first act. ■ Also Crowded late waves run lighter, and a number of display issues are fixed.
