## What is 마음의 답장?

Letters to Myself is a journal built like a book.

Write one line that has stayed on your mind, circle the feeling closest to now, and turn over a card. The cards do not tell the future — they are mirrors that show what you wrote from another angle. Press the red seal, and the night is added to your book.

Twenty-two Korean-style cards
Each of the twenty-two Western symbols was carried over into an object that lives close to us. The Magician became a brush, the Lovers a red thread, Death a threshold, the Devil a lock. The Star became a lantern, the Moon its reflection on water — and the World, a moon jar. Printed in three inks on aged paper.

The Four Gentlemen Expansion — fifty-six cards (in-app purchase)
The four Western suits were rebuilt as well. Cups became orchids, Swords became bamboo, Coins became chrysanthemums — and Wands became plum blossoms, the first flowers to open in winter. The four court cards read as four seasons of a life. Shuffle all seventy-eight together, and the deck is whole.

Three ways to read
· One card — a single image to sit with.
· Three-card reading — what has passed, now, where to look.
· One-line answer — ask, and read a line from a page opened at random.

Keep this card
Save any card you draw as a picture, and share it. Your own words never leave this device.

Your records stay on this device only. No account, no ads, no tracking.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.3.0 — 2026-08-27

Draw the card yourself

The card is no longer simply handed to you. Rest your finger on the spread of face-down cards, stop where your heart lingers, and tap once more to keep it. The chance is the same as before — but the choice is now yours.

The card backs are newly made as well: the diamond-and-chrysanthemum pattern once pressed into the covers of old Korean bound books.

Prefer the old way? You can switch back in Settings > Drawing ritual.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-12

The Four Gentlemen Expansion has arrived. Add fifty-six cards — plum blossom, orchid, chrysanthemum, bamboo — and read all seventy-eight as one deck (in-app purchase).

· Keep this card — save and share any card you draw
· Night reminder — a quiet nudge at the hour you choose
· Face ID lock — so only you can open this book
· Export your records as plain text
