The QR code on a share card now goes somewhere. It used to carry the character code and nothing else, so a friend who long-pressed it in a chat app got a meaningless string. Now it opens a page: if you have the app, one tap rebuilds the character; if you don't, there's a link to get it. The character code itself hasn't changed — codes you have already sent still work.
