## What is 魔法でおしゃべり！口パクにゃんこ?

English and Japanese. Switch anytime with the button in the top right.

Photos are never uploaded. No generative AI. Everything runs on this device.

Most talking-pet apps send your photo to a server and have an AI animate it. This app has nowhere to send it. Your cat's photo never leaves the device.

・No microphone, no sound (there is no voice feature)
・No account, no ads, no in-app purchases

■ Fitting the mouth

Choose a photo and the app looks for the cat's mouth and draws a line on it. It does not recognize faces and it does not identify individual animals. The technology that finds a cat's mouth is patent pending in Japan.

We won't claim it fits every photo. When it doesn't, drag the three dots above the mouth and it fits in a few seconds. Fixing it by hand was part of the design from the start. Once it looks right, tap "Looks good" and the line disappears.

■ How to use

Pick a front-facing photo of a cat and the app looks for the mouth. Tap "Looks good" to lock the line, then "See lip sync" to watch the mouth move. Tap "Magic reply" and your cat says a few words back. The replies are fixed phrases stored on this device.

You can also try it without choosing a photo, using Mimi, the sample cat included in the app.

Tabby, calico, black, white, American Shorthair, Scottish Fold, Persian, Maine Coon, breed doesn't matter. A close-up facing the camera with the mouth closed moves most cleanly.

■ 口もとの合わせかた

写真を選ぶと、アプリが猫の口の位置をさがして線を引きます。顔を見分けているわけではなく、個体を識別することもありません。この、猫の口もとを見つける技術は特許出願中です。

どんな写真でも必ず合う、とは言いません。合わないときは、口の上の3点を指で動かせば数秒で合います。手で直せることを、はじめから作りに入れてあります。合ったら「これでオーケー」を押すだけで、線は消えます。

■ つかいかた

正面を向いた猫の写真を選ぶと、アプリが口の位置をさがします。「これでオーケー」を押して線を確定したら、「口パクを見る」で口が動きます。「魔法でおへんじ」を押すと、うちの子がひとこと返します。返すことばは、この端末の中の定型パターンです。

写真を選ばなくても、最初から入っているサンプル猫ミミの写真で動きを見られます。

キジトラ、三毛猫、黒猫、白猫、アメリカンショートヘア、スコティッシュフォールド、ペルシャ、メインクーンなど猫種は問いません。口を閉じた正面のアップ写真だと、きれいに動きやすくなります。
