## What is संकेत?

संकेत – Pest & Disease Risk Advisory

संकेत is a simple, user-friendly application that helps farmers assess the possible risk of crop pests and diseases in advance.

Key features:

• Select your crop and its current growth stage.
• Use your current location or enter a place manually.
• Consider local weather and field conditions.
• Provide relevant details such as sowing conditions, irrigation and fertilizer use.
• Receive pest and disease risk assessments classified as High, Medium or Low.
• View helpful information about possible pests and diseases.
• Use the application in Hindi or English.
• Share feedback about the generated assessment.

संकेत helps farmers remain alert, plan ahead and identify potential crop problems early. Based on the assessment, farmers can seek timely advice from Agriculture Officers or qualified agricultural experts for suitable management.
