About

Getting married means meeting a whole new family, and the hardest part is remembering who is who. Kinwise keeps your partner's family in one warm, simple map: faces, names, ages, birthdays and the right way to address each person. Family map - Tap anyone to see how they're related to you and what to call them - Add parents, siblings, partners and children with a tap, and watch the map grow - Your family, your partner's family, friends and coworkers are gently color-coded - Keep loved ones who have passed away on the map, so no connection is lost Forms of address, done right - Kinwise knows which side of the family someone is on and who is older, so you get the right word in 10 languages, from Chinese 大舅子 and Hindi मामा to Turkish baldız - See who someone is at a glance: "Minjae's son Doyun" - If your family says it differently, set your own word Remember, not just record - A 5-question daily quiz for faces, names and birthdays - The evening before a family visit, flip through everyone you're about to meet - Reminders for birthdays and memorial days - Unknown details collect in one list you can send to your partner Fill it in together - Invite your partner to edit the same map. Each of you sees titles from your own point of view - Editing together works between iPhones on iOS 26 or later; changes usually show up for the other person within a minute Easy for everyone - Large text, Dark Mode and VoiceOver are supported, with big buttons and clear contrast, so grandparents can use it too - Seeing faces, names and relationships together can help people with memory difficulties, and the families who care for them, recognize relatives. Kinwise is not a medical app and does not diagnose or treat any condition Privacy first - Your family information stays on your devices and in iCloud; a shared family lives in its creator's iCloud. No ads, no tracking - Face detection runs on your device, and only the cropped face is saved Kinwise Pro and Plus - The family map, forms of address, quizzes, photos, widgets and co-editing are all free, with up to 10 people per family map - Lifetime Pro (a one-time purchase) or Kinwise Plus (monthly or yearly subscription) unlocks every feature: no people limit and the event prep helper - Event prep helper: before holidays, birthdays, memorial days and gatherings, get a new pack built from your family: who you'll see and how to address them, what they can't eat, greetings and a checklist - The yearly plan starts with a one-week free trial - Subscriptions are charged to your Apple Account and renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions Terms of Use: https://jsonpassion.github.io/saesikgu-site/terms/en/ Privacy Policy: https://jsonpassion.github.io/saesikgu-site/privacy/en/

What's New in Kinwise

1.2

October 1, 2026

New: Kinwise Plus. Before holidays, birthdays, memorial days and gatherings, get a prep pack made for your family: who you'll see and what to call them, greetings and things to bring (Coming up > See prep pack). Lifetime Pro includes it too. Automatic backups are now also kept in your iCloud Drive. If you reinstall the app or switch devices, restore an earlier family from Settings > Automatic backups. The family map is tidier: friends and coworkers now sit below the family, and pinch to zoom follows your fingers smoothly. Birthdays and holidays now show the right date in every time zone. Fixed a crash that kept the app from opening after you named only one or two relatives. Also fixed: the app freezing while creating an invite link, and family members looking disconnected when the same family was saved twice during sync. Your own family now stays as one, and restoring a backup brings your family back to that point instead of adding a new one.
