About

Should you do it yourself or pay someone? Time Choice puts both on one ledger: what your hour is really worth, what outsourcing costs, and how much time it actually frees. [Find your real hourly rate] Not after-tax income ÷ working hours. Time Choice adds overtime and commute to the denominator and subtracts work-related expenses from the numerator: Actual hourly rate = (after-tax monthly income − work expenses) ÷ (regular + overtime + commute hours). The example input gives ¥95.00 per hour. [Price a task] Enter the task, your hours, materials, the quote, coordination time and this decision's budget. You get: · Expected cash Co: what outsourcing really costs, shown on its own, never replaced by an increment · Incremental cash ΔC: the cash difference versus doing it yourself · Released time ΔT: personal time outsourcing frees (or takes), shown negative when so · Combined cost comparison: own Sd and outsourced So on one scale · Critical time price V*: the rate at which the conclusion flips [A leaning, not a decision for you] The rules are public and ordered: responsibility that cannot be handed over first, then this decision's budget, then whether you want to keep the experience, and only then the economics. When the gap is small, or the conclusion flips under ±20%, it says "confirm the estimate" instead of forcing an answer. Eight sensitivity combinations are shown. [Price in Time] Turn a price into hours and 8-hour standard days. Milk tea, coffee, a pack of cigarettes, a takeout meal: one tap gives the answer, and you choose which items show and what they cost. The arithmetic hides behind a question mark. [Your data stays on this phone] No network, no uploads, no account, no ads, no analytics. The ledger and records live in a local database. [History is never rewritten] Every save is an immutable snapshot with a formula version. Change your rate later and no past record changes. Re-estimate with "Edit this estimate" to create a new draft and record. [Dark mode] Follows the system and stays legible at night; both palettes passed contrast checks. [Now on iPad] The layout centers a readable column on larger screens, with full iPad orientation support. For anyone who wants to see their time clearly: long hours, long commutes, deciding whether to ask for help, freelancers and quotes.
