تصنيف مايرز بريغز أو ما يعرف بمؤشر مايرز بريغز للأنواع هو اختبار لتصنيف الشخصيات البشرية، ويعد من أكثر الإختبارات دقة وتم تطوير عدد من الإختبارات واشتقاقها منه.

يولد الشخص ولديه خواص شخصية، قد تتغير أو يكتسب غيرها مع نضوجه. بناءاً على هذه الخواص يتعامل الشخص مع العالم الخارجي، وفي الوقت نفسه، يتكون لدى الآخرين فكرة عنه وعن القيم التي يؤمن بها. النظرية حصرت هذه الخواص في أربعة أقسام، أو ثمانية أضداد، وهي:

نظرة الشخص للحياة وتعامله معها، فهو إما أن يكون:
صارم وحازم (Judging).
مرن ومتساهل (Perceiving).
