Being a foreigner I’m trapped into using the airline app but with no clear benefits of redeeming miles easily or else. ### 1/5 — 垃圾航空公司 *2023-02-17, version 4.7.0* 垃圾厦航，经常取消国际航班，取消了直接自动给你换到另外一个落地城市而且不承担到原来城市的地面补偿。而且退款的时候超级麻烦，机票不是本人购买，但是退款不能直接退到原付款方式，只能退到乘客本人的银行卡，如果要退款到原付款方式还得提供一大堆证明，垃圾航空公司，再也不会买厦航的机票，可以的话我一星都不想给 ### 1/5 — 极其糟糕地出境安排 *2023-02-03* 出境要分批分点办理，提前两个小时才能出境过海关，再加上值机托运以及这么多人一起进去不知道要浪费在排队上多长时间；设计这一方式的，你怎么不过来排队；排队过程中还有推销私人订票的，吃相极其难看；排队出境，然后中间间隔毫无事情可做；下一批次的乘客在那里苦等，因事情来晚的本批次乘客有的以为还在排队，这样的安排太糟糕了 ### 1/5 — App 太多Bugs了，太烂了 *2022-07-22, version 4.5.9* 1. It maybe slightly cheaper but not worth the hassle. Our flight from point A to point C is all thru Xiamen Airlines & they will not issue the tickets for the remaining flights & the boarding gates will not issue the tickets so we have to go out & go to the departure area get our tickets & pass thru security 3x. The baggage allowance and additional baggage costs were not communicated transparently during booking or through any pre-flight reminders. As a result, I was surprised by the extra charges at check-in and had no opportunity to make adjustments beforehand. Airlines should provide clear and accessible information about baggage policies and fees so passengers can plan accordingly and avoid unexpected costs. Instead, I felt that the charges were only revealed when I arrived at the airport, leaving me with no choice but to pay. ### 1/5 — The trashiest app *2026-06-10* This is one of the trashiest apps out there. It's 2024, you still haven't figured out how to make your app work? ### 1/5 — Something always went wrong *2023-12-07, version 4.8.3* No matter how many updates and or different ways in which I try to enter my flight ticket. “Something went wrong”. Same with the website itself. Finding English setting is easy enough just find the globe logo. Unable to check-in in advance or confirm my flights. The design is beautiful and intuitive, making navigation a breeze. Despite not speaking Chinese fluently, I found it incredibly easy to check in, select my seats, and even board using the QR code.
