This app is downright DANGEROUS. We looked at hwy 55 tonight before driving back from McCall to Boise and the app showed the roads as all green. And there are no longer any camera views available from within the app to confirm conditions. Suffice to say, we had a long and surprising drive home on snow packed roads in whiteout conditions. 

We would have altered our plans for safer conditions had we been able to get reliable info from this app. Delete it!!

I’m staring at a giant highway closure that everyone knew about but me and Idaho 511. Extremely inconvenient as we are in a motor home towing a car and can’t back up. There’s construction near my home that has been going on for 4 months. The app shows no delay, no need for the detour.

Very helpful app. Appears to be well thought out and is reasonably accurate. We do a lot of traveling around Idaho panhandle and rod conditions vary greatly, so use this info all winter. A great free solution.

Compared to every state this is the most beta version of any 511 app. As a truck driver this app isn’t even usable.

I use the camera but there is only graining pics and no info on the road conditions .. ie slush or  icy or sanded etc.

The app gives what it says it does, camera locations, road conditions, road closures, and other things that may occur.  It would be nice if it gave a real time location down to the nearest 10th of a mile, or what ever location you are at.  Maybe even map coordinates.  I like that it provides milepost locations, but it would be nice if it provided the posted speed for the location you are in.

The map is rarely accurate.  Highways can be closed or  slow with traffic backing  up for miles and the app shows nothing.  I would love to be able to rely on this but just can’t.  

And the feedback email conveniently won’t allow you to send feedback.
