All three TV stations in the treasure Valley have the same problem on their app. They are very slow to update and especially on the weekends they only throw in a few new stories and continue to run stories from a week ago. The same goes for anything about regional news, sports. I’ll stick with KTVB. Their new one is worse. ### 1/5 — Woke and lie *2022-06-25, version 6.44* I deleted the app when Consistently saw how they wrote articles that were not true. They wrote an article just recently about Stanton medical healthcare stating that they are fake abortion clinic. If you go out to their website they do not even talk about performing abortions. Stanton actually offers free consultations and ultrasounds to women who can’t afford it and free diapers to women who can’t afford it. There is nowhere on their website that says anything that channel 6 said. If I were Stanton I would lawyer up and take them to court. ### 1/5 — Waste of time *2018-11-05, version 6.18* Worst app ever. None of the headlines are readable but nutlets opened, unlike other apps. Does not work at all with larger text size. Now whenever I try to open it, it opens to setting up notifications and then shuts down. I still receive the banner notifications just fine. Please fix the bug so I can get the news. Thanks! ### 2/5 — So-so news. *2017-07-04, version 6.12* Ch6 has apparently decided to try another annoying tactic of making you answer a survey question before they let you see the rest of a news story. I've had enough. Count me out. They are not worth it. ### 2/5 — Doesn't scroll *2017-03-12, version 6.9* Once the screen loads it is impossible to scroll down through the stories because the titles and the ads become overlapped in such a way that neither is viewable. I can usually only access the story that comes up first once the screen loads. The rest become jumbled. And spell checking before publishing your stories would be a good idea as there are frequent spelling and grammatical errors. ### 3/5 — Are there no proof readers? *2017-04-08, version 6.10* These stories are very poorly written. The words are spelled wrong or the wrong word is used.....what happened to pride in doing your job and proofing your work? Forget being able to utilize it! Their app has been nothing but a headache to use since they launched it. Thus, I landed on KIVI’s app. I am so glad KIVI has kept it simple and made their app easy to use! The radar was immediately right there at my fingertips when I needed it. I don’t want a fancy app with pretty pictures. I want an app that allows me to smoothly scroll through the news items, not get dizzy from the main page moving up and down every time you press on a news item. And, I want an app that is easy to navigate with regard to the weather. KIVI’s app is exactly what I want.
