### 5/5 — All

*2024-09-08*

I love in Calif. my kids have live in nmpa boise area since 1980 when we are up there, we read your paper. It is very good. I try to read it occasionally on the Internet here in California, but I’m sorry to say that I can’t afford to spend the money to subscribe, but you do have a good paper and I appreciate to read what I can

### 5/5 — Great Digital Experience

*2024-07-27*

I really enjoy the digital version of the Idaho Press; of course there’s the local news, which is why I subscribe, but the app works ALL THE TIME! No issues; no glitches. Keep up the great work!

### 5/5 — Best reporting in the valley.

*2024-05-22*

I canceled my Idaho Statesman subscription several years ago and added Idaho Press for better local coverage. I have not regretted that decision

### 5/5 — Couldn’t live without it

*2024-04-14*

My window to the news of the world . The online version is always available and easy to tead

### 5/5 — jlp

Good old fashion news. Non bias, calls out fake news BS.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Buggy and toxic ads

*2023-03-30*

I’m a paying subscriber but I cannot get logged into the app. Tapping login just breaks the app. Sometimes phishing ads take over the entire screen claiming to be Google and that I’ve won something if I would just give them some personal info…

### 1/5 — Just ok

*2020-02-05, version 6.8*

On my iPad I have to log in every time. I see another reviewer commented on this. Maybe it’s time to fix that because it is very frustrating.

### 1/5 — Now forces a log on with each article

*2019-11-16, version 6.7*

Very confused—I’ve been a member for over a year; no problems. Now every time I click an article, I’m redirected to log in in spite of saving settings. Frustrating.

### 2/5 — Ok app

*2012-05-24, version 4.1.2*

Doesn't rotate to allow landscape viewing. Not a native iPad app; must enlarge to fill iPad screen. On the plus side, it works fine and the content is always up to date.

### 3/5 — Sports section

*2025-07-05*

Why still no coverage of the Boise Hawks? Even your online version totally ignores them! I want to see their schedule and results. I’m sure I’m not the only one.

### 4/5 — Id Press

*2025-03-27*

I enjoy our local news and an approach that isn’t all right wing.

### 4/5 — jlp

*2025-02-09*

Great local coverage!

### 4/5 — Political

*2024-09-20*

Good but important to recognize the writing on the wall…avaricious developers in housing tracts that looks like slave quarters.

### 4/5 — Keep making it better.

*2024-07-03*

The Idaho Press app has become more intuitive. I appreciate the sustained improvements.

### 4/5 — Review of Idaho Press E-edition as requested…

*2024-06-01*

Just happy to sit down at a time of my choosing and be able to read local paper and National News on a regular basis, Frankly would prefer to read a printed page, but delivery reliability of any printed material became literally impossible during the last 5 years with the COVID Pandemic, so had to give up that pleasure and settle for E-Edition.

News can be listened to on TV, but lack of in depth coverage on many stories was frustrating, also local sports coverage remains very spotty on local TV stations, so need to rely on internet sports services for much coverage of all but the very basic sports news in our area & national teams we follow as well.

Being a “senior citizen,” I frequently struggle with finding what I am searching for on phone or laptop, but least this form of local news coverage is generally available when I search for it and I avoid the frustrations of “no delivery today” from local news services that we experienced on far too many days for the prices that were required for what turned out to be unreliable service.
