USE YOUR IPHONE AS YOUR OWN PERSONAL REMINDER TOOL
iDay Deluxe is the innovative App that will ensure you never again forget a birthday, anniversary, or any other important date.

LIST OF ALL BIRTHDAYS FROM YOUR ADDRESS BOOK 
Each time it’s launched, iDay automatically imports all the birthdays stored in your address book. You can also use iDay to create special manual entries, which means there’s no need to have a separate address book entry for your Aunt Gwen or dog Snoopy, even if you want to be reminded of their birthdays as well.

REMEMBER YOUR FIRST DATE AND ANNIVERSARY
Ensure you’ll always remember the anniversary of your first date with your husband or wife, as well as your wedding anniversary. You can also organize your children’s school holidays and vacation periods, and enter any other special days, including your own personal vacation times – basically any day or period you want to be reminded of.

LOTS OF USEFUL INFORMATION EVERY DAY
iDay’s summary page displays the applicable Zodiac sign for that day, as well as Chinese and American Native Horoscopes, the Celtic Tree Horoscope, and helpful links related to all of these features. You can also view the moon phase for the selected day, as well as the Saint associated with it. In addition, you can obtain facts about the date by following links to Wikipedia, and the daily calendars and “On This Day” sections of the the BBC. Other links provide information on famous people born and historical events that took place on that day. 

SEND BIRTHDAY E-MAILS TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY 
Surprise your friends and family by sending them best wishes for their birthday directly from the App via phone calls, text messages, or a very special e-mail containing personal horoscope and other data, which is automatically composed by the summary page.

This app has just gone awol.  After many years and still with months left on my annual subscription ,  it has now kicked me out and telling me to renew the subscription.  The whole package has caved in.  Can the developer please sort this out as I am ever so slightly cross!    Having said this I like the app and have found it extremely useful over the years .  It would appear that this is the only way I can. Communicate with the developer as all other avenues DO NOT WIRK

Auch ich habe die App seit einigen Jahren in der bereits gekauften Vollversion und musste mich überraschen lassen das ich nur noch 5 Einträge sehe, ohne Ankündigung. Mich hat das so sehr geärgert das ich eine neue App habe und nach und nach die Daten dort erfasse. Ich verstehe absolut den Hintergrund, aber dann bitte nur für Neukunden das Abo und nicht für die welche bereits gekauft haben.

Heute musste ich um meine Daten zu behalten ein Abo abschließen. Das finde ich ohne vorherige Ankündigung nicht in Ordnung. Zumal ich die Vollversion schon mal gehabt habe, die sich aber nicht wieder herstellen ließ.
Jetzt mit dem
Abo muss ich feststellen dass viele meiner Daten fehlen. 😡

**Developer response:** leider hätte ich die App ohne Abo Modell einstellen müssen, da eine weitere Pflege mit den Einnahmen aus den Neuverkäufen (das waren in den letzten Jahren keine 100 € pro Jahr mehr) nicht mehr möglich ist. Da ich diese Arbeit hauptberuflich mache und davon leben muss, kann ich es ja nicht kostenlos machen. Ich bin also auf dauerhafte Einnahmen angewiesen um weitere Updates garantieren zu können. Und Apple verlangt regelmässige Updates um die neuen Geräte und Betriebssystemversionen zu unterstützen, ansonsten würden sie die App aus dem App Store nehmen.

Ich habe kein Verstaendnis fuer diese andauernde grundlose Noergelei. Ich habe die APP schon so lange, kann sein seit dem 3G, und war immer zufrieden damit. Ich habe nichts zu beanstanden. Nun kostet sie 3,99 eur im Jahr - na und? - das ist sie allemal wert und das Update hat funktioniert; es sind keine Daten verloren gegangen. Ich bin sehr froh und sehe voller Zuversicht nach vorne. Danke an den Entwickler und Kopf hoch und bloss nicht beirren lassen. AT.
