## What is Identikey.ai?

Identikey is your self-sovereign digital identity.

Your identity, fully under your control. Securely store your personal data on your device, decide who can access it, and revoke access at any time — all from one place.

What you can do with Identikey
• Create a wallet that holds your verified identity on your device — private keys never leave your phone.
• Share specific pieces of your profile (name, email, age, nationality, address…) with businesses you trust, using end-to-end encryption.
• Approve or deny each data request from the businesses you interact with.
• Revoke any active access from the businesses you previously approved.
• Manage your bookings and check-ins by simply scanning a QR code.
• Track the history of every data-sharing event from one inbox.

How it works
Your data is stored locally and encrypted with your private key. When a business asks for information, Identikey signs and encrypts only the fields you approve, using industry-standard cryptography (ECDSA on secp256k1 + ECDH + Salsa20). The recipient can verify the data is genuinely yours — without needing to host or store it on their own servers.

Privacy by design
• No central server holds your personal data.
• Your decentralised identifier (DID) is published on the Polygon blockchain — but your personal information is not.
• GDPR-compliant: every access you grant is logged, revocable, and auditable.
