## What is iDetectiveLt Logic Puzzles?

You are a part-time detective who helps out Inspector Thadeus Deprehensio, from the local office, who you affectionately call "Inspector Thad." Together, you will help solve countless cases, some easier than others, some challenging, which will keep your wits sharp, your mind logical, and the world a better place. If you need assistance, just tap the Help button which will reveal all--including the ability to shake this device to start over or to clear your notes grid.

In this free Lite version, select from 4 cases of varying difficulty. Tapping on a case brings you to the main grid. Here, you'll see scrollable text that talks about the case and gives clues you'll need. Based on these clues, you can circle and cross out possible suspects. 

Based on the clues and your grid notes, you enter your hypotheses in the Answer page where clicking on 'Check' lets you see if your answers are correct so far--letting you correct what you've missed.

Your changes are always saved! Should you decide to leave the current case unfinished because you want to work on another case, your answers as well as your grid notes are all saved so you can go back to work on them again at a later time.

A pretty rare kind of logical word puzzle that requires a very clear mind and skill of elimination. Love the layout, helps a lot to solve the puzzle!

This is difficult to solve because you can't see the whole puzzle. You have to click on each one and then hope you remember everything so you can go back and tap on the next grid.

I've been playing this for ages and I've had a great experience with it. Once you get used to the layout and navigating through it, it's quite enjoyable!

I completed the Opera stranglings puzzle and all 20 answers were marked wrong. Of course impossible, even if I had no logic at all, as some of the answers are given to you directly in the clues. So I looked at the solution and turns out my solution was 100% correct, the suspects were just in the wrong order. I don't see how that can be, as suspect number was not one of the categories to be solved, and I don't see how I possibly could have known the order they wanted them in. As long as the 5 categories for each suspect matched it should have been fine. Frustrating, and I will definitely not bother buying the paid version of this app as I might have without the issue.

Because with this app you lose the ability to cross-reference your answers.

Every screen you check is separate and the "enter answers" is not automatically updated, and the whole exercise is futile. It's a pity it's set up this way because the puzzles are nice.

You can only see one category at a time. I don't like not being able to see the whole puzzle, it can get confusing with so many categories.

What makes a logic grid puzzle is deductive reasoning. When you have to switch back and forth between screens to see different parts of the grid, you lose and mix up information. I had to draw out a chart for the first one.

I loved the traditional puzzle with filling out the chart. This, however, broke up that helpful chart and you have to scroll back to find the other who's and what's.
