But very hard to look at when on a smaller device. It doesn’t auto fit the screen. ### 2/5 — I enjoy the convenience but still needs work to be really helpful *2022-06-20, version 10.4* Good for receiving results with the convenience of your iPhone or iPad but trending results is not good at all. For example serial results like t4, progesterone, CK are hard to tell what test was taken when and which result to use. Also we use the xray pacs system and the images are often way too small to view. ### 4/5 — U/A results slowed dow *2022-03-29, version 10.3* Since the recent upgrade the U/A results are much slower to post than they used to be!! ### 2/5 — Give us back the ability to email clients! *2022-02-18, version 10.3* “Improvements” on an app should not take away options. Prior to upgrades, this app gave you the ability to email clients directly results and document that communication for future reference. Since a few updates, that ability is gone and when you go to send the results you will only be able to send to your recent phone contacts. I’ve contacted support multiple times and zero response, multiple “updates” since then that do not include reinstalling this feature. Maybe there was a legal issue with sending through the app directly to clients, but I wouldn’t be able to speak to that because I’ve never had a callback to our clinic regarding this issue. ### 3/5 — Improved but buggy *2021-12-21, version 10.2.0* Improvements have been made but I am still signed out every day and therefore do not get notifications. Unfortunately the removed the integration with cornerstone so you cannot email the results to the client as you used to be able to do without knowing their email address. Search functionality was also removed which now makes the app less desireable. I agree with previous reviews about iPad functionality; app is not keeping pace with utilization of mobile devices. ### 1/5 — Searching for patient? *2021-11-09, version 10.1.1* Being able to use this app to check things on the go and being away from a computer should be user friendly. I need to be able to do that while doing other things quickly Scrolling back through hundreds of results is not efficient. Been pretty disappointed in Idexx lately in general… ### 2/5 — Bad update *2021-10-31, version 10.1.0* Before it displayed the complete vs the pending tests in two separate tabs. Now it’s all together , so if a test is pending for several days you have to scroll to see if these tests are still pending. We have twelve doctors in our practice, ‘all complete’ and ‘all in process’ is useless information, I only want to see my tests. ### 1/5 — Update Ruined it *2021-10-26, version 10.0* The app was great before. Use friendly. Easy to isolate your patients and separate things. New update has completely ruined the experience. Pending labwork is in the same column as done labwork. Very annoying. There is no option to leave the app logged in on your phone so it is constantly kicking you out. The notifications only work about half the time. I’m very displeased. I’ve gone back to just using the website because the app is more trouble than it’s worth. ### 1/5 — Not an improvement *2021-10-23, version 10.0* Have to sign in repeatedly. Once loaded, error messages. Cannot use it on my phone. ### 1/5 — Significant downgrade from previous version *2021-10-20, version 10.0* I have use this app every day of my practice career for the last six or seven years. I use it on the iPad that Idexx gave to me to use as a client communication tool. A few days ago I installed the new update, and now the app is hopelessly useless. Some things that I would complain about are that normal ranges do not show next to the graph, it will not display in landscape mode, so the only previous test you can see are what will fit in portrait mode. You have to click to a different tab to see a summary of all previous tests, which is fine, but when you’re in portrait mode, you can only see two or three results at a time without scrolling. When I contacted Idexx support about this, I was told that the app was only for the iPhone, and wouldn’t work on the iPad. Ironic that it’s working fine on the iPad that they gave me for just such a purpose until the update. I just don’t see improve functionality on this, rather I see a decrease in usability. Please fix this! ### 2/5 — Disappointed with latest update *2021-10-20, version 10.0* The app was user friendly and intuitive prior to the newest update. It is now difficult to see prior lab results and hard to tell which tests are completed without going to different tabs. Also unable to mark a read test results as unread. ### 1/5 — No search! *2021-10-19, version 10.0* New version did away with the search bar! One of the most important parts of the app. Also if I look at a test for one patient there is no way to see prior tests done on that patient. Old version had some minor issues but unfortunately this version is worse - please fix this your lab is awesome and always does an amazing job with everything, hopefully these bugs will be sorted out soon ### 3/5 — Needed updates. *2021-10-17, version 10.0* I can’t find a way to search for a specific patient. Also, I can’t find a way to view all tests submitted for a patient. So, if I find the CBC result, there is no obvious place to also see the FUO profile or culture that were submitted, without scrolling and just looking for it, since I cannot search. Your last update to the app shows “connection error” with a Retry button that does nothing. I’ve called and am pretty happy with the phone support but this app is a loser this weekend. Too frequently does not integrate well regarding Idexx labs and Cornerstone. ### 1/5 — Less than useless *2022-01-23, version 10.2.1* This app WAS useful for looking at lab work results on the fly, especially when trying to keep tabs on time-sensitive cases. However, the rewrite is absolutely terrible and makes the app cause more trouble than it’s worth — a complete time waster. No normal values. They used to be there. That are since removed. Why?! Also, once opened from the app, the results cannot be marked as unread, which used to be handy to allow internal communication with the staff to ensure follow up communication with the doctors and clients. App is slow, awkward, and very disappointing. No fix in sight after complaining about this immediately following the launch of the “new” app we were forced to download. Thanks IDEXX! ### 4/5 — Multiple Idexx Accounts *2023-02-28, version 10.6* Would be a great idea for VetConnect to allow a unified view of multiple Idexx accounts (ideally with a filter). As a locum vet, a recurring theme is bloods or diagnostics run at one branch (with a separate Idexx billing/supplies account) are not visible online at the other. Most practices have their vets deployed across all sites, it would be so useful to have linked accounts for one business so you just login to VetConnect once but be able to see everything. Submission forms could just have a mandatory drop down saying “which branch”.
