I often get 2 at a time, or sometimes even at midnight. Having an option to select appropriate times for messages would make this much better. Also, the spelling and grammatical errors are annoying. ### 3/5 — Notifications *2020-03-05, version 3.0* Send messages sometimes back to back to back and kind of aggravating but great messages ### 3/5 — Too many notifications! *2020-03-03, version 3.0* I enjoy the inspirational messages this app sends. However, I don’t need a message EVERY 30 MINUTES! I think sending too many messages a day can be overwhelming & I don’t get the chance to really digest or think about the meaning. I think y’all should consider sending less messages a day, or least give users the options of how many notifications they’ll like to receive a day 🤷🏾‍♀️ ### 4/5 — Great affirmations, a bit much at times *2020-03-03, version 3.0* I love following Idillionaire on Twitter. I was happy to see that she's has an app. I appreciate the notifications and the affirmations contained within and this is saying a lot because it's one of the few apps I accept notifications for. With that said, I'd love the ability to limit the number of notifications I receive each day and even better would be limiting the hours of the day I receive notifications. ### 2/5 — Too much *2020-01-26, version 3.0* I’d like this if it was one or maybe two messages a day. All the notifications and numbers stacking up when I don’t have time to check really stresses me out. I’ve checked settings but was unable to find a way to limit the number of notifications. It says “Something went wrong “ ### 2/5 — Ineffective app *2020-01-10, version 2.6* The app does not work effectively. I will receive a notification, go to click on it to read it and it jus spins. Even if I’m on WiFi the app doesn’t load , so I get frustrated and close it out without reading the notification sent to me. ### 3/5 — Good content. Technical problems *2020-01-09, version 2.6* This is an excellent app, and excellent content. But the affirmations tab on the app takes a very, very long time (minutes) to load, if loaded at all. I do not know if this is a common problem to all users, but definitely not a connection issue from my side since everything else on the internet loads perfectly well. I hope this would be fixed the soonest. Idil’s posts on instagram are always inspiring, and the idea that the app sends notifications throughout the day which (based on the lines I can read on notifications) help one maintain high vibration and alignment is really helpful. It is a lovely idea, but please fix that problem. ### 3/5 — Great content, poor app *2020-01-07, version 2.6* Recently started following Idil, I love her messaging. The daily reminders and notifications are nice, but unfortunately the app takes forever to load if it ever does. So the only messages I end up reading are what come up in the notification preview. Whenever you select the notifications tab it takes minutes to load. The back button takes forever as well. Other than that I love the affirmations. I just wish the bugs were fixed. **Developer response:** My dev team has fixed the notification issue and updated app servers and I am sorry that you had difficulty using our app. I really appreciate your feedback and that's how we improve and in return, I am able to keep you guys motivated. Hopefully this gets fixed. This could be a great app. ### 2/5 — PLEASE STOP THE ADVERTISEMENTS *2019-10-09, version 2.3* I love her and the app at first but then she started adding advertisements so every time I want to open the little notes she sends out throughout the day it takes forever to load while advertisements flash on her page and I end up just logging out of the site without getting to read the note. **Developer response:** We are really sorry that you had issues using our app. We have fixed notifications and added a separate section inside the app named "illuminations". Now you can read all the notes from that new section as well. When I open the app it gets stuck on the opening screen and never moves past it (yellow screen with the logo). I have a new phone that is up to date so there’s shouldn’t be any issues. I’ve downloaded, deleted, and re-downloaded it 3 times to see if that would help but it didn’t. You can't access anything without paying a $10 monthly fee. I would have appreciated a trial run at the very least. How will I know if I even like the features that are offered if I can't even test them out. If I only wanted to the positive affirmations direct to my phone I could easily just turn on my Instagram post notifications. Maybe future updates will actually let you test out the app but for now it's being deleted. ### 2/5 — Doesn’t work properly *2022-12-11, version 3.2* I liked the app when I first downloaded it. I started receiving too many notifications a day and could not limit them so I erased the app. I had decided to redownload the app and now I don’t receive any notifications at all. I like the inspirations and messaging of the app but honestly this app needs a lot of work to be user friendly. ### 2/5 — What Happened? *2022-07-12, version 3.2* I no longer receive encouraging messages. I used to get them every few hours throughout the day but as of the last year I haven’t received any. Only reason for the low score as I absolutely love the app, the book, and follow Idil on IG. ### 2/5 — WAY TOO MANY ADS. Smh. Unable to enjoy. Forceful money-grab. *2020-04-02, version 3.0* I like the app and the fact that it sends positive words (as notifications) all throughout the day. BUT the amount of ads that pop up within the app (basically after every time you click on an affirmation card) makes the experience completely un-enjoyable. It kills it. It’s a dealbreaker—that’s how bad it is. It’s so invasive and constant, like they’re trying to FORCE you to pay $10/mo, rather than give you the option. And they want $10/month to stop the ads? I love that she is different from other manifesting teachers and isn’t trying to sell you on techniques or quick fixes like so many on YouTube. This app is meant to rewire your mind and replace old limiting beliefs with new positive ones. I repeat them every single day and it’s changed my life is so many ways. I’d love if the app had the function to scroll through favorites. Also a shuffle option would be fun to mix the affirmations around. Overall it’s a simple app but it is so powerful if you use it daily and consistently.
