### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work

*2025-10-11*

I was really excited about this app however it doesn’t work. It allows you to enter divers and choose their dive, but it doesn’t go to any screen where you can enter the scores. It’s too bad because it would be a great app to have.

**Developer response:** i'm sorry you weren't able to use the app at the time of purchase but I hope the following will make you try it again. It really is useful and with a recently included feature it now ranks divers in an event based on their total score.

Once you are in the app, you'll notice three lines in the top left, this is the information bar. if you tap it, the app will expose four sections, "Meets", "Scores", "Info", and "Logout". When opening the app, the default is Meets since that's where you'll start. After adding your meet, event, and divers, and when you're ready to score, the next step is to tap the information bar (or swipe right) to expose the four sections again and select Scores. This will allow you to score the divers in your meet. Just select the meet, diver, the dive, and then input the scores. Repeat for each diver in the event if more than one and the app will calculate the score and diver position.

I'd just like to point out that there is a check box to select which is important if scoring a diver under NFHS (high school) rules as opposed to FINA or USA Diving rules. There are two dives (204C and 304C) with different degrees of difficulty under high school rules. If you don't do this for a high school event and either of these two dives are performed, the result will not be correct.

I also would like to point out that there is a website for iDive Score--the Dive Scoring App and it's idivescore.com. The website includes an FAQ page with responses to questions most users will have. Also, included in the page is a link to the complete user guide for iDive Score for either iOS or Android operating systems. It needs to be updated but the basic information has not changed.

I hope you try the app again with this in mind and see how good it really is. Thanks for your support and contact me at paul.decaprio@gmail.com if you have any other issues or questions.

### 1/5 — Wish I Read Reviews First

*2024-12-14*

Can’t create a log-in, and app ceases when you try to enter a meet. I want my money back.

### 1/5 — If I could give NO Stars

*2023-09-06*

If I could give this app NO stars I 100% would. App crashes constantly can’t even use it to enter in ANYTHING… worst $2.99 I have EVER spent.

### 1/5 — I can’t even log in

*2021-10-02*

There is no access to register a log in. When I’ve tried to add a dive the app shuts off. The app had been a disappointment.

### 1/5 — Absolutely terrible

*2018-08-31*

I just spent $2.99 on an app that asks for a login but wont let you log in and doesnt calculate scores with the degree of difficulty! Absolutely awful app!Wish I could get a refund!

### 1/5 — Worthless App

*2014-12-03*

I foolishly bought this app thinking it would be something like the useful iSwim apps for keeping track of my son's diving meets. Not. Absolutely worthless. Clunky and cumbersome I wasted a lot kg time fooling with it before figuring out it wouldn't do anything useful.

### 1/5 — The most useless app ever!

*2013-09-15*

I was really hoping this app would work for me because it looks cool. Unfortunately, it comes with no directions and I'm having an impossible time trying to put in scores! It will let me create a list of divers, but I can't seem to select a dive and input scores. It's awful and I've asked for a refund. It's too bad I can't get it to work for me - or that it doesn't even come with a quick tutorial - because this looked like a really cool app.

### 4/5 — Very helpful

*2013-09-08*

I love using the app. Wish that the screen would allow you to see more than 2 dives listed at a time when typing in the dive numbers an that you could save your divers info in the app so it does not have to be entered every time.

### 5/5 — Great Manual Scoring App

*2013-01-26*

I have used this app a number of times since I purchased it and it's worked as expected each time. I have even used it to score 20 divers in one event. It worked like a charm. Not one hitch. I like this app because I can keep other members of my family up to date on diving events by emailing the results as soon as the event is complete. For the reviewer who says you need to know the dive number before the meet starts should know that I have searched for dives by name, dive number, and by scrolling through the complete list of dives. This search feature was one of the main reasons for my purchase. Yes, I have found the app works best if you know what dives your diver is diving before the event, but with some understanding of the app, you can also score each dive when performed. Not optimal, but doable. If you load the diver and dives in the Meets section beforehand all you need to do is score the dive in the Scores section during the event. Once you score a dive, the app takes you back to diver's dive list where you are ready to score another dive. Easy. Like I said, I scored a complete meet of 20 divers each diving 6 dives. I wouldn't have been able to do that if this app wasn't easy to use. The app includes an information icon at the top of the app that helps explain its functionality. The website also includes a detailed users manual. For the user that was disappointed the app doesn't include DD information, I don't see how that changes or lessens the app's ability to score a diver. Overall, I'm very pleased with this app. It does what it claims to do and it does it well. It has made manually scoring my diver in a diving event a heck of a lot easier.

### 1/5 — Not good

*2012-12-30*

Not easy to use and you need to know all dive numbers before the meet starts.
