## What is IDK Can You??

IDK Can You? is classroom accountability that runs itself: hall passes and device checkouts without paper logs, approval queues, or another system teachers have to babysit.

Students scan themselves out and back in at a classroom kiosk. IDK Can You? handles the clock, waitlist, return, and overdue flags. You set the rules once—limits, destinations, timers, and automatic restrictions—and step in only when something actually needs you.

No approval queue. No request page on a student’s screen. No IT ticket just to check out a Chromebook. Set it once. Then teach.

Walk-in passes
When your school turns it on, any student in the school directory can sign out at your kiosk, not only the students on your roster. The pass belongs to your room, and the board, history, and the school's live view mark it as a walk-in.

Waitlist
The waitlist stays open on a paused kiosk when you allow it, so the line is ready when you resume. It takes walk-ins too.

Kiosk
The kiosk keeps following the bell schedule when the network drops, and shows a Reconnecting chip until it is back. Boards recover faster after a blip. The Hall Pass and Devices switch appears only when both have something to serve.

The kiosk now opens on the front camera: the one facing the room. Turn the iPad and the camera turns with it.

A student can now belong to more than one of your classes. The roster keeps one student, every class they are in, and one history. Choose which school classes appear in Hall Pass under Students, then Manage classes. Editing a student now shows every school class they belong to.

Settings now carries an embed code for the display board, sized for any classroom screen.

Per-destination limits are easier to set: the switch and its fields sit together.

The app quiets down in the background and catches up the moment you return: easier on battery and data. Pass timers hold steady through connection hiccups, and boards keep the right order even when updates arrive late.

Supports iPhones and iPads on iOS 15.
