Looks like it’s been 4 years since the last one. Or am I missing something? ### 2/5 — Not optimized well. Too many ads. *2023-06-15, version 44.0* I’m playing on my iPhone 14 pro max. The icons at the top look cut off and smushed together and I can’t make out what’s going on. Also I have an arrow constantly telling me to look at the map. Then it tells me to look at “Expedition” but nothing is clickable on that page? It’s just a pic of a camper. I’m guessing that’s a bug? Also there are wayyyyyy too many ads. I burnt out on the game fast because of it. Other than that it has a lot of potential. ### 2/5 — Annoying ads constantly *2020-02-21, version 44.0* I like the game and enjoy playing it. The reason for the two stars is that ads are constantly popping up. And when you actually want an ad to play so you can get a boost, it won’t play. To remove the ads you have to pay $5 a week. Not really sure about exchanging my coins. Really wish that was explained better. With all the bugs people complain about with this game, I’m not really sure how it got rated so high. Everytime I exit an ad or go to another page, the sound and music turn back on and it’s very frustrating and tedious to keep turning them off. Also having an add every three micro movements is annoying and I’d rather have an option to just pay to take the ads off. Besides those two things, it’s a solid idle game. ### 2/5 — Shameless Cash Pandering *2019-06-19, version 34.0* I’d like to enjoy this game. The premise is fun, the execution of the core mechanics is nice, and the art is adorable. However, the constant barrage of interstitial ads is beyond terrible. You can’t take more than three or four actions before getting hit by one. And the only option to remove them costs $4.99 PER WEEK. I get that you want some dollars for your product, but the vast majority of other games have a “no ads” purchase for around $2. Try it. I’d like to come back. ### 3/5 — Buggy *2019-06-10, version 33.0* Update: I love what you have done with the ads!!! The game is so much more enjoyable, I was about to give up. I have been thinking that of you would be willing to change your business model I would so be willing to pay for this fun game, but not on a weekly basis even if it were less expensive per week. I would pay one time, however, and I’d be willing to pay more thank you may think. Not sure what that would mean for you in dollars, but you may want to consider. Thanks for the change! Oh my...I’m afraid to click anything w all the adds. Yikes! Sorry the game is fun but the product doesn’t make me want to spend $5 a week with all of the bugs. The ads don’t load and I think the collect 2x feature doesn’t work unless I’m misunderstanding the goal. ### 2/5 — All about the Ads *2019-06-09, version 33.0* I had fun with this game for a few weeks. Now there is a 30 sec ad after any action. There is no $1.99 to remove them if you like the game, like most. They want $4.99 per week to remove the ads. I was pretty hooked. It needs some polish and QC but I *was* enjoying it. This despite the barrage of “watch an ad to get ____” offers. I understand you gotta get paid, ok. But then the interstitial ads started popping up like every 5-10 actions. I had them pop up in the middle of upgrading people. Like I tapped the button a few times and triggered an ad. I like this game. I really, really wanna enjoy it and like it more. The game is basically unplayable like this. And the subtle message after a while of this is “hey, the game can be playable again if you give us 5 bucks A WEEK”. C’mon guys. The mechanics are simple enough and the concept is fun. The progression is easygoing & casual. However, there are ads that pop up every few seconds! This is incredibly distracting and prevent me from switching between screens easily. The ads have tiny little close buttons that often do not work! Some of them have a bug that causes the screen to flash continuously. Thank g*d I am not epileptic!! Because the ads do not close properly, I am forced to restart the game multiple times a minute. This is ridiculous and completely defeats the point of gameplay. Furthermore, with each ad that pops up, sound settings switch right back to default. Lord knows what else too. I think a better model would be no interstitial ads and you pay to remove all ads, but yeah I literally couldn’t play for more than a couple days without getting too aggravated. It’s unbearable. I used to play this game a lot, but over time it’s just gotten annoying because of the increase in ads. Just updated the game to the latest update and I switched from map view to the bank and back to map view and I got two ads in less than two minutes. Both times was when switching back to the map. Before this last update ads only came up about every three or four map changes. I also have sent a review five times now and has not been put on the review page. I am now under the extreme impression that the Devs are moderating the reviews to make their app better and there rating better.
