The objectives are somewhat unclear, perhaps a language barrier…an objective will say “upgrade X” but there won’t be anything named X and you have to figure out what upgrade will satisfy the objective. Example: “upgrade passenger flow”, there is nothing about passengers or flow anywhere, this objective is completed by increasing the amount of students who come in and the front desk. Example 2: the game talks about “RV activities” but there is no RV or anything to do with RV’s anywhere…. Sometimes clicking an objective will bring you to what needs to upgraded but occasionally (in the Japan setting the most) you will brought to something that is not related to objective at all…so either the objective is mis-labeled or it is connected to the wrong thing for auto locate. Additionally, there are tons of visual issues. The floors/carpets look like they have collision issues for a good example. Additionally, mini objectives to locate a student with a matching interest has unclear symbols to explain interests, the objective should show what symbol match you are searching for. However, the worst visual crime is the amount of screen clutter. Holy heck, there is so much stuff popping up, and bordering the screen. I feel like I am being strong armed to going ad free even knowing that much of that clutter wouldn’t go away as it isn’t ads but in-game content. I am just moving on because this game is not yet worth the $20 to see if it really improves. ### 2/5 — Fun until you don’t get what you earn or pay for *2024-06-05* This game was fun until I noticed it was giving me all the medals I had earned. You earn diamonds to use to get medals or you get free boxes that come with medals and then they don’t go to your total count. And unfortunately you have no way of contacting them to fix this problem. You have to watch an ad for pretty much every tiny gain. AND it burns my battery AND makes my phone run hot. Once I had bought it and played for a an hour or so, and made it to 2nd place in the weekly competition, I was thrown out of the game and cannot get back in again. It’s a shame as this is a fun game, but it will no longer open for me. For example where do you upgrade customers flow? It would be nice to be able to click on the quest and it takes you to the room where southaven to upgrade. ### 3/5 — Fun way to pass time but… *2023-11-27* I paid $20 for no ads and one of the perks it boasted was unlimited bill points, but ever since the most recent update, my button to “watch an ad” for bill points is rarely there and I have to pay gems to replenish or just wait. I feel misled. Also the “event” has been the same exact thing 3 times in a row since I started playing. I couldn’t make it all the way through the tutorial without the game forcing me to buy something with gems. The game requires you to get medals to hire and upgrade teachers but no matter how many medals you get, you have to “make up for the difference” with gems. I had 20 medals for a 20 cost teacher, game said I had to pay 30 gems because I didn’t have enough resources. So I got 50 medals for the 20 medal teacher. I still did not have enough and had to pay 30 gems. Even looking at the reviews about a guy who paid for a No-Ad Pass and received almost nothing in return because the game offered no options to gain extra money (from ads) because they were no longer there. Instead it would always suggest him to just pay with gems instead. Either the devs just havent dont enough beta testing or theyre completely predatory and trying to get someone to pay $20 for a horrible package. I had grinded the event this week and was first place, only to see < 2 days of the event remaining it has removed me from the leaderboard, my ranking is bottom 5000+, despite my in game metrics clearly reflecting my progress. So much time and gems invested for the game to bug out like this. This has to be top 3 on my list. Still very new with a lot of potential, but already great within itself. 10/10 would recommend to a friend for sure. There's plenty of options to speed up your progress, using a choice of ad or spend diamonds. I like that there's no automatic ads. It's simple to play & addicting. You can tell, they put alot of work into this game. No bugs whatsoever. I would like to see different events besides beach, & more usage for the clover coins. Update: The no more locations to travel to, so end of the road, for the main storyline. The events storyline is still the Beach location. It never changes, has been Beach every time, that begins 12 hours after it begins. The students & restaurant customers stop moving, if you play too long & have to reset the app. Without more locations & different events, this game has reached its ending for me. ### 5/5 — This is how idle games should be *2023-10-02* Amazing game and fair gameplay, there are ad options if you want to get extra cash but it’s optional. Really recommend downloading this game *2023-09-11* This game is one of the best games in the App Store! And guess what?, NO ADS!!😆😆😆 this is the best game that I would recommend for long car rides. Like say that if you are bored and if you really want to play a game, idle cooking school is the best app you really want to get, and if you download it and play it you would definitely not get bored and have fun with this game. But here’s what I need to tell you. The one part is that if you don’t have enough money and would need it to upgrade the cooking school, then just get the money by watching it. But you really know that people don’t like forced ads, and so not forcing someone to watch them is great! But if you fine with ads then just watch them. I fine with ads but not fine with forced ads. I not trying to be mean.
