It does not work and sets you back to your normal amount in the beginning of the game, one. Also if you don’t play the game for a while, expect to have to delete the app and restart, which is what I had to do after not playing for a few months. It likely seems the only way to fix the scanner issue is by restarting again. And since I don’t want to restart a game from scratch a third time, I am now deleting the app. Was fun while it lasted though. ### 4/5 — Fun game with lots of easter eggs *2023-03-25* Been playing for a while now, and never thought I’d live to see it get updated, the new changes are welcome and am excited for the new game mode but some issues came up with the recent version and I don’t know where else to address them. It seems for me that when given the chance to upgrade Management, everything just recents back to 0.0 and I lose all the progress I had already made. Additionally, I’m unable to feed any of the animals in Clone Park. These are just things I want brought to light, for anyone wondering if the game is actually fun, it is. The visual effects are cute, and anyone familiar with pop culture are sure to catch some references. ### 3/5 — Painfully Long Tutorial *2021-08-17, version 1.0.6* Just when you think it’s over and you have some freedom to start some upgrades, it takes you to another page to show you something. Was trying to listen to music but couldn’t even get to the game settings to turn down the music because it’s forcing you to press something. Played for like 15 minutes and could not find the patience to see it to the end ### 4/5 — Lucky digs *2021-07-23, version 1.0.6* I have the lucky dig chance upgraded to 50% but out of 19 digs it happens twice???? Am I missing something, it should happen around half the times ### 2/5 — Constant Bug *2021-05-13, version 1.0.6* Comments failed to load Get used to a similar message every two minutes in this game. ### 4/5 — Needs More Stuff *2021-02-10, version 1.0.6* I’m a huge fan of Idle Fossil Museum, so much so that the level rewards have stopped paying out (I’m over 120+ levels in), and once you move past the ads everywhere you look it’s actually a lot of fun. It’s not a traditional idle game, and it’s got a wonderfully unique system of digging up fossils and assembling dinosaurs or other creatures. All in all, I would recommend you play Idle Fossil Museum. It’ll keep you busy for at least a little while. What this game needs, quite ironically, is more life. It needs more content—more stuff to do. For example, once you max out everything in the starting area it’s not even worth your time or effort to go there anymore because the monetary payout is next to nothing compared to what you earn in area 2. I don’t know if this developer even cares about this game anymore, but if by some slim chance they read this I want them to know I enjoyed the content they have going so far, it just needs more. Constant additions and updates is how you keep your game relevant and alive, and I’m not seeing much movement behind the scenes. ### 4/5 — Paleontologists! *2021-01-11, version 1.0.6* Fan of the game, it runs great, but I think you’re looking for paleontologists, not archaeologists! Paleontologists study history through the fossil record, while archaeologists focus specifically on human history. A roughly 2.3 million year difference :) ### 2/5 — Very buggy *2020-12-31, version 1.0.6* Was fun at first, but then it got super laggy and buggy. For instance, just today I went to dig fossils and the game froze. I closed out of it and the music was still playing. I turned off my phone and the music was still playing. Only after I powered my phone off did it stop. ### 3/5 — Let me play the game *2020-12-30, version 1.0.6* There are like 80 different tutorials blacking out all other options and making me do this or do this or have a pop up ad or make me spend my money on something I don’t want. Just please let me play the game, even 4 year olds would get mad. I try to go out on a dig and it makes me read 3 paragraphs on something I already know or makes me use an ability that is obvious what it does. Let me do things on my own, The target advertising doesn’t seem to be 3 year olds, so stop treating the player like one. ### 4/5 — Bug with collecting fossils *2020-12-30, version 1.0.6* Great game, except I have a major bug where I cannot complete certain fossils. For example, the Vaalbara A fossil is stuck at 50% and the Pangaea S fossil is stuck at 95% despite continued digging attempts, which is somewhat annoying as I cannot further progress through the game because of this. ### 3/5 — Tutorial is too long *2020-12-28, version 1.0.6* I don’t need my hand held for this long of a time. Other than that, good game ### 4/5 — Fun but awkward, and a pet peeve *2020-12-19, version 1.0.6* The game itself and the idle experience is honestly great, and the art it very nice to look at and look forward to the next upgrade. The awkward part comes in the game’s text and AD placement. The English is mediocre, a prime example being the first purchase gift bag isn’t explained clearly, you’ll see for yourself. The ads, while there are no random pop up ads, which is a big plus, almost every reward is behind an ad watch, with the rewards varying between worth the watch and why waste 30 seconds on this instead of another “free” ad reward. Even catching the thief only results in her offering an ad reward, while good, but not the gold she stole. I would recommend pairing this app with a different pastime for all the ad rewards if you want to quickly progress. IMPORTANT pet peeve of mine is misleading prize wheels. A polar bear offers relic rewards and an ad reward to multiply the relic by 1x, 3x, 5x, and 10x. The graphic of the wheel would mean each section has a 25% chance to be landed on. This isn’t true as you will predominantly land on 1x, and is outright disgusting to see in any game, including this one. ### 3/5 — Problems *2020-12-15, version 1.0.5* This game is fun and all but I have a problem where it’s pretty much only giving me upgrade missions I don’t know if it’s a bug but I get on and can only upgrade it a couple of times which gets really annoying I don’t know how much longer I’ll have to do this but it’s making me play the game a lot less. ### 3/5 — Tutorial *2020-12-06, version 1.0.5* Tutorial way too long ### 3/5 — Adware *2020-12-05, version 1.0.5* It’s a decent game marred in to having to watch way too many ads, they’re “optional”, but if you want to make any real progress you have to indulge in them. It’s been 4 years since the notch was on iPhones this developer is just lazy. ### 1/5 — A Blatant Copy of Another Game *2021-02-27, version 1.0.6* This game is an overt copy of another game, “Tap! Dig! My Museum!,” and should be treated as such. Even from the start, the game takes the original concept and taints it with the addition of unnecessary mechanics, a more cluttered art style, and a ridiculous amount of advertising. If anyone enjoys the concept, but finds the game itself is not worth it, please support the original by playing. My Museum is, in my opinion, a hundred times better in comparison. ### 1/5 — Ad simulator *2021-02-24, version 1.0.6* The game is structured around you watching ads to progress. Theres even a daily achievement for watching 15 ads, what even is that?? This game offers no way to progress without watching 10 ads in one sitting. Also they have a feature to earn chests and then only allow you to accept said chest by watching an ad; no ad, no chest. If you try to just play the game without watching a single ad, you will remain around the tutorial. ### 1/5 — Ads *2021-02-01, version 1.0.6* I hope you enjoy adds because that is half the game. You need to have use ads for everything. The ads are 30 seconds long. However, a few of the character designs are just straight up black face... There are some characters that are racially insensitive. And then watch my tickets go from 90 to 4! Is NOT OK! That’s a big issue and a MAJOR RIPOFF OF MY MONEY. I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT IS A PROBLEM. ESPECIALLY when it did the same thing the day before. I don’t know where I can go to report an issue but that needs to be installed. —Additionally part. After trying to hit restore and see if i could recover what was lost— As I said I hit restore to see if that would fix the issue to no success. I even PAID FOR MORE TICKETS. JUST TO NOT RECEIVE what was lost. AND ENDED UP LOSING THAT AS WELL. Glad this game was free to download because it definitely isn’t worth the money I have spent on it. ### 1/5 — Adware trash *2020-12-29, version 1.0.6* It’s really disappointing that the ads are so rampant in this game, it’s honestly really fun and I would gladly pay to remove ads permanently but there’s no such option. It really isn’t a problem when you first start but after playing for 4+ hours you’ll be getting ads even just to claim the fossils you dig up. How is that okay? Isn’t the entire core game mechanic to dig up fossils? And the results of your dig gets walled behind ads? However the only issue I have is that about half the time when it needs to load an ad it fails and you don’t get the reward or the game freezes and you have to reboot ( doesn’t happen as much). I have found that the best thing to do is collect as many of the coins that you can before hitting watch ad. I noticed that you have the indominus/allosaurus skeleton, but I want MORE. I think you should add more to the lab like a lab museum filled with hybrids like stegoceratops and spino raptor, and to unlock them you must collect full skeletons from each of the two creatures, and add them to clone park! Also, thank you for adding Godzilla, I have never found such a good game that includes Godzilla. Keep it up! ### 5/5 — One of my favorite idle games *2020-11-18, version 1.0.3* This is a great bite-size idle with a pretty fun and unique core mechanic of digging up fossils. It’s very ad-heavy with no IAP to disable ads which is unfortunate, but if you can deal with that you’ve got a fun little idle on your hands. Devs - now that I’ve reached level 90, I’ve stopped receiving xp talent points for new levels. The level up alert appears to indicate that I’ll get another talent point, but I don’t.
