i was a big fan of tap knight and finally got around to playing this, and this game absolutely delivers on the original ethos of no iaps and is pretty much everything one could want from an rpg-style idle game. 100% worth sinking some time into if you enjoy idle games

Ignore the negative reviews complaining about how ‘slow’ progression is. That’s the entire point of this game. 0 ads and in app purchases was enough to catch my eye but the actual gameplay is exactly what an idle game is supposed to be. Incredibly incremental, but without becoming tedious or too granular.

Completed the game thinking the ‘new game+’ mode might actually unlock some content, but it seems to be more of exactly the same. So many design choices here that I can’t imagine being made by a human: it makes no sense to play this game actively, resource acquisition offline is many times that if playing actively; skills like ‘perception’ (and in that case the associated mechanic) are completely useless and do nothing. The gameplay loop is, as I said mostly offline and there is NO additional functionality unlocked as you progress. Upgrading tools and proficiency at tapping is pointless because it never keeps up with just closing the game.
Don’t spend money on this, unless you want to be bemused.

Not bad at all, no IAP or any sort of ads, the progress is purely based on how you manage your resources. Gets a bit repetitive after a while ...wished there was more stuff to do. 8/10

I've had games hurt my wrist before but I've never felt like I've made such little progress. If you don't want the player to progress through tapping then why make it an option at all? Needs more engaging introductory play. Tutorial is completely unrewarded.

I absolutely love this game, it looks great and the mechanics just work. Idle games have grown too exponential, this game is a breath of fresh air from that experience, it’s very slow and you have to plan your upgrades which I find really fun. The graphics are unique and fun, the soundtracks are fitting, and the game explains its mechanics well, plus gives tons of sources if you need more help. 10/10 idle game.
