All in all, this is easily a 5 star game. No ads, genuinely fun, and many, many qol features that you don’t often see in mobile games. This game hands down has the most content and the strongest gameplay loop of any idle game I’ve ever played. Especially at the start of the game active play is very beneficial, but as time goes on (and you naturally get a little bored of the gameplay loop) the game becomes more idle perfectly solving that problem. It seems that even after well over 100hrs there’s still brand new content at every milestone that changes the way I approach the game and my focus. Tried some tower defence type games and they didnt hold my attention for more than 10 minutes. So happy I came across obelisk miner. I am a mega epic gamer but removed all mobile games to focus on work. Mobile game wise im from a Bloons and Geomety Dash background. Sound design is beautiful, very enjoyable way to start off the game. Ive been playing for almost 31 days now. A couple of days into playing and I realise theres a summer event?! In an idle mining game. Ive just reached 100 stars with 1 day remaining. Very satisfying event and also noticed the event schedule! I look forward to the next!! Progression feels just right, I am struck by how much variety and how well thought out upgrades are. Theres always a been a new way the game incentivises progression and it feels very fresh even now. Im almost at World 2, reached the bottom but have to grind out obelisks for a while which is chill, I can work on my workshop a little. Theres ALWAYS something to do. The idle aspect is real nice, for normal gameplay and for the summer event. The active playing takes the form of either mining which is also very satisfying with buffs in late game, or with the various bombs. I AM THE BOMBING BANDIT. It was an EYE OPENER when I started really incorporating bombs into my play, very enjoyable. Lots of freedom to play as you wish, lots of various ways to express oneself. Im always learning more about this game, I was stunned to see a wiki page, was thrilled to learn I could spend diamonds on another drone and just recently found the miner name reroll system. After 100+ rerolls im still very content with my OG miner name 'Nuck.' I almost stuck with 'Dadi' though (female model too lol.) Thank you! Where you’re asked to get insane amounts of bars which kills any momentum this game had. If i didn’t get lucky and have the rainbow floors which is a 1% chance to get a room for 50x ores.. then i wouldn’t even been playing still. 70 million cloud bars is just too much. And i have only built 4 statues.. Why show me world 2 stuff when im weeks away from it? Weird bottleneck. Think im done with this game. I’ve have clicked complete on reward Devine challenge 10 twice and will not complete. World 4 has unrealistic requirements for resources. Archaeology has unrealistic amount requirements for exp requirements due to you can’t advance in a reasonable time. Mythic idol takes way too long to get anywhere. Chain bomb after using you get more to use when not using bomb but I can’t get the number to go down due to I’m stuck on around 329,000,000,000.
