This game could be so much more. Once you’ve prestiged a few times (3-4) you end up realizing that it’s more of a tapping game than idle. You are only able to upgrade one level at a time. Which, to eat all of the things in the game, without a snake evolution that has an ability to increase size, you have to level your size 3200 ish times in one prestige. That’s 3200 taps on one small button (1600 if you have an active ability to increase your size, but that is limited). If you want to do this in a speedy manner, rapidly tapping on your screen causes your snake to move all over the place in addition to what you are trying to do, which makes you end up off track and not eating anything. This limits your speed on tapping your screen. Which also makes 3200 taps on one ability mind numbingly monotonous. The last snake evolution you can unlock requires that you reach experience level 999. Good luck. After you prestige once, you no longer gain experience when you level up until after you press the level up button and accept the level up rewards. An additional 999 taps. Quality of life changes that are needed: - In settings, the ability to change how many levels you gain per tap on the screen for size, speed, and strength upgrades. +1, +10, +100, +1000, Max. After you prestige 5-6 times you can’t spend gold/money as fast as it comes in. It’s impossible. - Auto accept/gain level up rewards! And/or experience gain doesn’t stop when you have a level up. In fact, level up rewards should accumulate, and when you are ready to accept them you can accept them all at once for multiple levels. - Prestige gold/experience bonus. The max bonus per prestige is 50%. I’m pretty sure this is based off of your snake’s ‘size upgrade’ level. Which at 1000, you can reach that 50% bonus. With each prestige, you can get to this point faster and faster. Give players an incentive for going past this? Right now, the only reason is the level 999 snake evolution (if you can stomach the 8199 taps(3200 size, 2000 speed, 2000 strength, 999 experience level)), but after that… then what? Are there new worlds? Maybe I do need to stick out the 999 levels? Bugs: I’m not sure if this is due to the building you can’t eat or my upgrade levels at the time, but at a certain point I reached 4000 size and 4000 speed upgrade levels (just because, testing I guess). My snake would stop moving periodically, every few seconds for a moment. It looked as if the game was catching up or my snake was getting stuck on that building. At this size and speed, especially if you have the size increase ability, your snake is so big that it literally sits on the loading screen horizon(where buildings/things spawn). Comical to watch, but glitchy. There’s also a building you cannot eat regardless of your size There’s also a building that gives you no gold once eaten. When you do multiple abilities at once in combination with snakenado you end up canceling snakenado and graphics animations are totally messed up. You are either slithering into the ground or moving backwards. In summary, I’d love to see more from this game. It has a lot of potential to be really fun.
