One thing is I have been stuck at the bottleneck of level 14 for The Mafia mode since like last year, and STILL can only reach 485/500 so far. Recently, another thing appears: I cannot reset (Cash Laudering CL) the Nowadays mode either. While my dirty money is in Quinquinquagintillion, it does not translate into clean money in the "after usage you will get" part of the CL menu, and the USE button is greyed out. I listen to books all the time. I know that sometimes ads take over the audio when I play games as I listen to my books. But YOUR STUPID ADS take over my audio just to make one coin “clink” sound two seconds in, and don’t allow me to listen to my book for another freakin thirty seconds?! Why?! Either take the audio out, or put a mute button in like any self-respecting advertiser, or put in a soundtrack! I’ll tell you which one I don’t want- ppl who listen to other things whilst playing games freaking HATE for their audio to be interrupted. So stop being buttholes, and just give silent ads like a good little app. ### 1/5 — Lady Thief?!? *2023-11-11* I pretty much never leave game reviews but this was just too audacious to ignore. I was enjoying the game until I bought the mafia expansion. To be honest I didn’t even pay enough attention to notice that only 1 of the 10 “antiheroes” (the tomb thief) in the base game was female, which in itself is a bit iffy, but the level of sexism in the mafia version is just so over the top. It’s not enough that the only female character is named “lady thief” - she’s also unbelievably underpowered. At level 80, the mafioso (the only character that’s *cheaper* to upgrade than the lady thief) has an output of about $82k/second. My lady thief, by comparison, is earning a whopping $4k/second. I get what the devs are trying to do - add a bit more complexity to the expansion. The policeman is seriously overpowered and in general you’d want to approach upgrades a little differently than in the base game. But really? Include one token female character, give her a generic gender based name, AND make her utterly worthless? I haven’t seen any ads as ime they’ve been optional and I’ve not clicked on them. I like this game and had gift card money so I bought something. Hats off to the dev for considering the users I find the character descriptions very interesting and fun. I would also like there to be more women personalities and interesting characters of different backgrounds.
