When the “play without ads” screen pops up, it freezes the clock and you can’t progress. Restart the app and you’re back to the point you were before the screen popped up, so you can’t go anywhere. Therefore you lose the reward and have to get out of the game and reopen it. Really bad bug that didn’t use to happen. However the gameplay is so slow and there is no option to play in 2x speed and the rate at which you earn money is painfully slow. Another game that forces you to watch 90 second long ads to get money or pay to win basically. And you can tell what changes are happening from the improvements. But I do have one complaint. The Paramedics feel bland. Like there wasn’t much they did other than putting patients in solitary confinement. I would like if you could create a conquest system to “pacify” regions of zombies and add patients that have so many mutations that they are incurable. The Paramedics could have a bigger role than officers with batons(which they probably should have tranq guns). They could act as more of a military force rather than random dudes you found on the street. Another possible idea is a region that isn’t a clinic but rather a “training center” of sorts. Where instead of buying survivors to work in your clinic you train them after rescuing them from areas. One area could be Shanghai, Chicago, Rome, Versailles, or even New York. Which would make it so that you had to teach them on how to create the virus, riot control, cooking, therapy lessons, and how to use machinery in your training facility.(very far fetched idea, I really like the concept though.) But I’m at the end of the main locations and there hasn’t been an update in a year. They need to update and provide more locations. That’s the only reason it’s a four star and not a five star. ### 3/5 — Can’t get to Dubai *2025-02-14* I was really enjoying the game however, not I can’t get to Dubai level even though I have finished building the island before it. Also if you don’t have the location open you won’t gain feeding zombie numbers or giving them medicine numbers so you can never earn those diamonds unless you just leave it open. Why is there no way to report bugs? After you get a few hospitals in, they jack up the cost of building pretty much ANYTHING to the point that the only way to progress is to constantly watch ads in order to pay for it. It becomes a game about watching ads. Watching ads over and over is not fun or enjoyable, hence the game is no longer enjoyable. It’s a real shame that most App Store games these days have become this same concept. ### 1/5 — The new update is an eyesore *2025-07-06, version 2.14.1* I actually really liked this game, even bought the no ads package, but i opened the game today and was met with an ugly and completely changed UI. Before, it was clean, slick, and modern, now it looks like a cheap shovelware game from the early 2010’s. Not only is it the UI, they also changed the game visuals. It’s awful. Events to get you legendary cards twice a week. Can be 100% FTP if you want without feeling like you’re falling behind. NO PIGGY BANK FEATURE. Any gems you earn are yours you don’t have to pay for them, and a nice relaxing progressively difficult level progression. My only gripe is that I wish it had more levels so I could keep playing.
