Ok, I’ll cut to the chase. Yes, there is some p2w in this game. Can you really blame the one, singular, dev though? They have made and consistently updated a completely FREE game(with hundreds of hours of content) on two different systems and still have ZERO ads except tiny ones advertising the game’s store which, by the way, you can easily play the entire game without touching. AND, as it turns out, they have been making a ANOTHER game in the background as well as this one. There are hundreds of other mobile games that do the same thing, but because they aren’t big enough to be on steam, that’s fine apparently. Seriously though, never look through apple reviews for mobile games. I can guarantee you that 95% of the other reviewers are just 8 years old mad that a developer needs money to buy food.

Many things to do and loot to get tho, I’d like to play the game everywhere, and anywhere when I installed this game on my phone was I thought I’d be getting the same experience as on computer but that’s kinda hard when it keep kicking me out the game when I see the background of the login screen… Fix it please.

Predatory monetization EVERY new update (60-100USD if you want to keep up). Developer threatens legal action against content creators who are critical of the game or monetization. He also actively bans people who are critical of the game on discord.

Dev doesn’t care about game stability, only about releasing new features, which cause further stability issues unless you play on steam on PC

Idleon is a great game, I have played for while (progressing w5) but the one problem as a F2P player is that this game is going down a dark path the path to becoming a P2W game, this issue has been talked about a lot recently and as some one who downloaded this over 2 years ago it’s sad, back than it was if you buy auto loot that really all you need to buy if you what to spend some money but now every new bundle give a great bonus that puts you ahead for the cost of 10-30$. I have one suggestion make new bundle give only cosmetics/pets without stats maybe make a way to give the new cosmetics the stat buff from the wings and stuff you already own. Lava if you’re seeing this do something don’t get consumed by greed I know there probably many pay2play whales buying every bundle and there’s a lot of money made from them but please don’t go down the greedy path, I never write reviews so this is serious, and to all the people reading this that aren’t Lava, Lava probably won’t see this but YOU can spread awareness. #LavaPleaseNoP2W

i love the game alot cause ive been playing since 2022 when the 2nd world released and i wanted to play on my phone while at work and i dont see a option for steam at all and i feel like there should be a way to login to your steam acc for idleon since i have my progress on there

• BIG NEW REWARD: The one of a kind PET BONUS TOKEN! Defeat one monster to receive it, and use it to get the bonus of ANY pet you want... yea, ANY! Note that you only get the bonus and not the pet itself, but if you DO get the pet later, your token is REFUNDED and you can use it on a different pet bonus! See INFO DUMP for details. (yes you can collect multiple of this item, but you only get one token to use)
• Skeleton Keys: Earned from the Event Game "Buried Treasure", these can give Prisma Bubble Fragments, Cosmic Balls, or Gold Balls. Or you could save them in the hopes they give better rewards in the future, but maybe the rewards will be worse.... I wouldn't just make it worse in the future though, would I?
• New EVENT EXCLUSIVE Friend Bonus: +% EXTRA KILLS! There'll be new friend bonuses every event, sometimes from older events, so while this isn't your only chance to get this new bonus, it will be for a long time!
• New Map, with a new monster: the formidable GLOWFISH! They have 5,000T crystal HP, a their card gives passive Research EXP!

Quality Improvements
• Added "Crystal Trillion" Damage Notation within your Player Stats display! For example, if you had 5324235M~7943045M Crystal damage, it will now show as 5.324T~7.943T Crystal Damage!
• Added scenery to World 1 maps which reacts to your movement! Go ahead, frolic through the grass! You'll also find this in the new Glowfish map, so go ahead and frolic through the bioluminescence! 

Balance Changes
• The max Friend Bonus has increased, but the scaling has become more harsh -- this means lower-leveled bonuses have decreased, BUT there is a higher ceiling way beyond the previous Lv.12,000 cap! Basically, you gotta pump up those numbers, but for doing so you'll end up with more bonus than ever possible before!
• Buffed the Killionaire upgrade in Cavern 18 - 1.50x stonger, and cheaper cost scaling.
• Also buffed the following Cavern 18 upgrades by 1.5x each: Slop Drop, Droplier, Droplier+

Bug Fixes
• Cardiovascular and Pulsation Talents now drop properly -- go get those Lv 100 books!
• Fixed a bug where VERY high-leveled accounts couldn't send friend bonuses. You can now!
• Fixed display in Player Info - Base Stats were overlapping, player name display wasn't Case Sensitive, and also simplified the TRADE ui to be more clear and pleasant on the eyes.

INFO DUMP FOR READERS (help me spread correct information to those who can't read god bless 'em)
• The Pet Bonus token is my thanks to you for playing my game! You can get dozens of the item itself, but only one usage. While instructions are clearly written on the item itself, in order to use your token you must find the desired pet in-game, double click that person, click the trade button, then you'll see the "Use Token" system on the right.
• You get ~2.41 Event Points per play on average from the Buried Treasure event game. Obviously sometimes you get 1, sometimes you get 10, but if you played it 100 times you can expect ~241 Event Points. I post the average every event, so you can know just how juicy the odds are!
• You are more likely to get Bin Goosey before pity than you are to hit pity, just like for Poppy and Glunko before!
• Bin Goosey's bonus is that all your Daily Ribbons earned have a 50% chance for +1 tier, 40% chance for +2 tiers, and 10% chance for +5 tiers. 
• Skeleton keys give 2200 gold balls on average when landing on the Gold Ball drop table, mainly because of the HUGE 64,000 balls top prize. That's a Mean, not a Median, your middle school math teacher was right, you WILL use this in real life. IdleOn is real life. Cease your contact with grass, stay inside.

• Cavern 18 - The Crystal Glunko Cove!
• Collect gooey shapes, from Triangles to Nonagons, in order to upgrade your Cove Stats -- you have a unique Drop Rate, AFK Gains, and Multikill value while in Cavern 18.
• Each Gooey Shape counts on the Slab, so thats +12 new Slab Items to add to your collection!
• Green Water added to Cavern 16 - The Fountain
• 20 new Green Water upgrades which include bonuses to the rest of IdleOn of course, 3 new Fountain Currencies, rubber ducky and more!
• 7 new Schematics to build via Kaipu, the Engineer villager!
• 6* Cardifiers added - everybody gets 1 for free... in fact, I'm gonna DOUBLE that to 2 cardifiers for everyone who is an active player!! They will show up on special occasions in the Limited Gemshop section, and are of course used in the Cards section of Codex to turn any 5* Card into a 6* card.
• New Crystalline Glunko pack and Limited Items available now in the Gemshop!

Quality Improvements
• The kill requirement for the next map is now show in the top-left! This used to only be true for the first few worlds, but it's permanent, it makes the furthest map you've reached feel like you're on the front-lines, gives it that battle vibe!
• Changed most big number displays in the game to be more uniform and better -- for example, say you had 4216B / 52T exp. Not only would this now show in just Trillion notation, but you'd also get a decimal place, so it would be 4.2T / 52.0T
• The killcount of Gloomie Mushroom, Ancient Golem, and new Crystal Glunko cavern monsters are all properly shown by each mob's Card in Codex

• Cooking Mastery is HERE! Unlocked via Rift 61.
• New Ribbons - Rank 21~25. Must be unlocked via Rift 61.
• New Research Grid - [K3]
• New Vial -  uses Chapter 6 spelunking pages, and is called Canteen Read. Just sayin.
• New Arcade Bonus type - go max it out while it's there!
• New Salt Lick upgrade - you MUST build it via Construction. If you were in middle school when the last Salt Lick upgrade released, you'd now be in university. This is not an exaggeration.
• New Zuperbit upgrade 

Balance Changes
• Important note: The "chance for +2 rank when combining ribbons" bonus from gambit does not apply for Ribbon Rank 20+ reason being so that RNG does not have as much of a role in ribbon progression in the future.
• All Salt Lick upgrades now cost salt, and cost amounts have been adjusted to account for this.

Bug Fixes
• Fixed the Dreadnaught rare drop from last update not being in the slab, nor properly sorted as an item.

• Tournament rewards given out: New Nametags! These cannot be added to the gallery nor slab, and of course are purely cosmetic... no bonuses bro!
• There's a special reward for everyone who beats Fortune Mill, as an extra thanks from me to you! An exclusive Abacus Frog pet - he has no bonuses, only tournament power. There is no deadline to earn him, so feel free to take your time before buying, and enjoy your playthrough if you do!

Quality Improvements
• Greenstacking is now PERMANENT! When you greenstack an item by getting 10M+ of them in your Storage Chest, it stays greenstacked!
• Added greenstack display to Slab, so you can keep track of which items you've greenstacked!

Bug Fixes
• Fixed the Construction Cog-board being un-usable for some players. Simply put, your new character was being auto-placed incorrectly due to a full cog inventory, and I have fixed this retroactively for all, no action required by you other than updating the game!
• Fixed the "Lv. 72 Research" observation not showing up in its intended area, near the top of the summit in W7
• Fixed "Button snapshotting" regarding its bonuses, it is no longer viable.
