App has never been updated. ### 1/5 — App Simply Doesn’t Work *2023-02-23* I don’t have any complaints about the IDnotify Service but their IOS App simply doesn’t work! The App has not been updated in over 2 years, which also says something regarding Experian's investment in this service. I’ve received a few email notifications regarding Internet Surveillance warnings. Attempting to view these notices in the App dashboard is futile. It consistently yields an “unknown error has occurred” message and recommends you return to dashboard view. The only way I can view my notifications is to log onto the IDnotify web portal from a browser on my PC. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2022-10-28* App never opens. Once I try to log it it starts then crashes. I have to keep deleting it and redownloading it . Unimpressive look. But the worst part you have to login and setup code all the time. The app developer woke up the morning of turning in this app in to go Live and made it while rushing to the subway station. ### 1/5 — Fail *2021-11-19* Just installed it after signing up for the service. I received 53 emails today alerting me to issues. However none of the alerts are visible on the app. I went on my computer and found that there insufficient details on the notification to actually determine what was compromised. Was it an account using my email as a login or was it actually my email. Am I supposed to reset hundreds of passwords? We’re these old notifications? Who knows because no details are provided. ### 1/5 — Useless app at this time *2021-09-30* After several calls and password resets this app still does not work. They did give me a special link and this is the only way I can log on and only if using a browser. Get an alert, go into app, click on alert and all I ever get is nothing but a message saying an unknown error has occurred. This has gone on for the better part of a year now. Now change. Garbage. ### 1/5 — No correlation with the browser *2024-02-25* Honestly the whole thing seems like a ripoff. The scan doesn’t work on the browser for the peoplesites which are horrible and should be outlawed but the best we can do is confirm with the jerks that are legally selling your personal data to anyone with $1.99 . Right they expect you to confirm the correctness of the data they are selling in order to remove it. Talk about bargaining with the devil. I don’t feel comfortable with sharing my DL and other personal Data with a site that works so poorly, and an app that doesn’t even work at all. Like literally has no functionality whatsoever and is a complete waste of time and money. I got scammed by turbo tax to believe it was this great service that prevents and restores is theft before and after support, I cannot comment on customer support as I haven’t called them yet since I am recently a victim of is theft and have already dealt with all of it before they even noticed. It wasn’t cheap but as crappy as the site is I imagine the insurance ain’t much better. I get a notification and message, but each time I try to read it the App makes me start from the beginning like I’ve never accessed the system. Log in. Set up Face ID. Set up PIN. After all that, I go to read my alerts and the system won’t open the message. Error retrieving my information or unknown error message. Not at all comforting to be alerted something has changed and I cannot see any details.
