Stop guessing patterns in the middle of rehearsal. iDoctor Beatbuddy Assistant analyzes any song and tells you exactly which rhythm on your BeatBuddy 2 pedal to use when playing it live.

HOW IT WORKS
Pick a song from Files (MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC…) and get a full analysis in seconds, computed entirely on your iPhone or iPad — no servers, no waiting, and your music never leaves your device.

• Professionally accurate BPM detection
• Groove: 8th- or 16th-note hi-hat
• Feel: straight or swing
• Meter: binary or ternary (4/4, 6/8…)

THE EXACT PATTERN, WITH ITS NUMBERS
The app matches the analysis against all 267 patterns in the BeatBuddy 2 catalog and returns a scored, explained ranking. Every recommendation includes the exact MIDI numbers (MSB · LSB · PC) so you can dial the pattern into your pedal without searching.

OPTIONAL ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Connect your own Claude (Anthropic) API key and AI takes the analysis further: it detects the song's real genre, re-ranks the recommendations with musical judgment and gives you practical live tips (fills, transitions, count-ins, half-time…). Your key is stored only in your device's Keychain and the cost (cents per song) is billed to your own account. Without a key, the full local analysis still works.
