The art style is amazing, I like that I don’t have to pay to play if I don’t want to. Although at the moment it seems like the one section called “Piece Casting”, every time I go to use it the game glitches and then shuts down. Just a little frustrating so that’s why it’s a 4 start not a full 5. The translations are kinda weird but it’s still a good game! My favorite character is Kokoro cuz she’s just so cute! I’m almost 14 too lol. Also, there’s so much to do! The mini episodes are so fun and entertaining to watch! Sometimes there’s funny moments which I love. Even when I swap the two, the mission is still a fail. ### 5/5 — Amazing visuals, terrible size, still great *2024-05-18* The outfit change having effect in live performances and the smooth motions are amazing, something I did not expect in a mobile game. The core mechanics and the auto battle is awesome too. The idling part isn’t too bad, fan acquisition takes a long time but is manageable. Daily tasks are quick and don’t take too much time. Now the main downsides… The download sizes needs huge improvements for new players, possibly with better support for background download, and more efficient data formats. It’s just a couple of stages and outfits and dance sequences here. Games like Genshin can fit an entire game world in fewer GB’s. This game also needs better songs… and more genres. Everything sound more or less the same here - a lot of noise, and not much better than the Suno generated songs. ### 5/5 — Lovely idol game *2024-03-10* I usually don’t play idol game, cause base on the impression I get from idol games, but characters in this games are too cute, then I give it a try, and find it a decent idle game, in fact I know this game by watching its gameplay video of pajama party, so I just want to collect all those 5 characters costumes. But the downside of this game is also obvious, same as many Korean mobile gacha games, the chance to get off banner characters is very high, despite u might get many other 5 stars characters instead, but if u ever play gacha game like blue archive, u might get what I meant here, but I think the best part of this game is the interaction among idols, they are all really cute, so far I like it ### 5/5 — MIKU *2024-02-20, version 3.0.10* HATSUNE MIKU MENTIONED INGAME!🧏‍♂️ ### 5/5 — Incredible Models and Fun Idle Experience *2024-02-01* Idoly Pride is a really fun and interactive game, especially for an idle game. While there is a huge emphasis on letting the game idle to build up resources, understanding the game mechanics and how to build teams for certain songs is also really important for pushing stages! Every idol has unique skills and passives, even some of the lower rarity cards see use in my runs (Corn Kotone is very useful!) Outside of gameplay, the 3D models in this game for the characters are stunning. I was surprised when I first saw this game, as it seems rather niche even among other idol fans (similar to t7s), but the game itself is such a high quality that even more popular series don’t get near… Seriously, put an idol with a reflective material dress in the Christmas Photoshoot and you’ll see how detailed the dresses can be! If you like cute idols and team-building RPGs, definitely give this game a try. It allows me to rewind but doesn't allow me to see what's going on or exit the app unless i turn it off but if i end up restarting instead of just turning it off i have to go through it again ### 1/5 — Horrible customer support *2023-07-01* I wish I could give this game any better but I lost an account that somehow got unlinked from my apple id and service has refused to help, let alone respond. There’s only one way to contact anyone and it’s through this horribly laggy and bad “Inquiries” section. I have put in multiple and waited hours and days but no one has cared to help me. I think the characters are super cute and have great designs, the art style is adorable. I find the songs super catchy, Ive been listening to the Snow Miku one and the Sayonara one a lot. The base game itself is nice. - Id say dont spend money. I guess thats a given but I dont think Ive played a gacha game thats given me this little for my cash, especially $20. Like…one 5 star duplicate that wasnt part of the event is ridiculous, honestly. I might keep playing but Ill definitely be sticking to my other games. ### 3/5 — Switching screen orientation bug *2023-09-28, version 3.0.3* I overall enjoy the game, but ever since I started playing about a week ago, I’ve been constantly experiencing a game-breaking bug every time the game forces a screen orientation switch (vertical to horizontal). Once I tap the screen to initiate the switch, my entire screen turns black and although I can hear the audio and interact with the UI, I can’t see anything. I’ve tried holding my device’s power button down to turn my device off and reopen the app, but this rarely works. My tablet, as a whole, becomes completely unresponsive. A few days ago, my device would finally respond and be able to turn off allowing me to reopen the app about halfway through most live show shootings- so I could manually take photos of at least the second half of the song. But as of today, it is completely unresponsive and I am unable to see a single song. This makes the Shooting (both live and work sections) completely unplayable. I can hear everything happening, but with zero vision, it defeats the purpose. Avoiding such a core part of the game, which is encouraged by the daily and weekly tasks, really hinders my enjoyment of the game. This also extends to viewing Stories. I’m forced to use vertical mode only or else I will trigger the bug. A fix on this issue would be greatly appreciated. My device is an iPad Air (4th gen) and my OS is update 16.6. ### 3/5 — Stuck in an endless loading loop *2023-06-11, version 2.4.11* Can’t even play the first Live ### 4/5 — Slightly Concerning Age Stuff *2025-07-04* I like the game, it’s a good game. My only issue with it is the questionable portrayal of minors. Maybe I’m looking too far into it, but some of the art of characters that are explicitly stated to be underaged is…it makes me a bit uncomfortable. Even though I don’t play any other games like this, Idoly Pride feels so engaging and worthwhile. 10/10 character design and personalities, which range from super sweet and cute to aggressive, demanding, and borderline yandere. The story is way more interesting than I expected, and I like that they’re all 3D animated. There are plenty of one-on-one conversations, texts, and calls with the idols. You can take photos of them in music videos and stories. There are battle features and rankings. I’m in midgame and I still make use of the starter cards/free 2 star cards since you can level them up a lot, so I appreciate that. I’m also very happy with the collabs, like Hatsune Miku.
