The doorbell rings, but you’re not expecting visitors. With the iDor Mobile™ app, you can immediately see who’s at your door. Using your iPhone or iPad, you can now communicate with your visitors from your home or remotely on a 3G/4G/LTE network.
• When someone rings your doorbell or presses the call button, an image automatically appears on your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Apple Watch. You can now talk directly with your visitor and decide if you want to open the door.

So unfortunately, I can’t even access iDor with the information I was provided with my landlord whenever I hit the retrieve button it says failure. I’m not sure what’s going on with this app. It’s really frustrating.

I have missed so many packages because this app fails to work. I don’t see nor hear notifications EVER. Just absolute garbage.

App was working fine, in till it asked me to sync. Now it does not work, cameras are blacked out and the button to open up the gates are missing. Useless app

They really need to update this app. Mine constantly says its offline until I open the app. So if its always offline, I never get alerted when someone rings my bell and miss loads of deliveries. So frustrating.

I never know when someone is calling from the front door of our apartment building because this app does not notify me. It has a silent pop up that will come and go. This is extremely useless in the event that we need to know when someone is trying to get “buzzed” inside or when there’s mail/delivery and I need to let my packages inside. Would not recommend this system or app if it’s for an apartment building or home. 

Also if I open the app to see who is outside, the app crashes and I have to constantly attempt to re open the app and click the “front door” button again and again. I usually tell people to call me directly now and I’ll physically come let them inside, so there is really no convenience for having this app.

Aside from being a clumsy design, this app does not allow multiple alert options. When someone rings you, your phone will let out a completely unnoticeable chime and/or vibrate once. There is no way to set up an alert the keeps vibrating or ringing until you answer. It is not intuitive how to let people in after they ring you. Although it mostly works, it feels like this app was an afterthought. Needs a update with improved user experience. Also tends to crash when in WiFi, but not on LTE.

* Doesn’t work when wifi is on. Just crashes after a couple of seconds of opening up.
* Rarely ever pops up the push notification when someone is calling. Then it takes 30 seconds for it resort to calling you on the phone instead.
* Generally seems like a very hard to use design, and poorly thought out app.

This system has never worked correctly. I can see the cameras but none of the useful functions like buzzing a visitor into ground floor or opening the elevator from visitor parking or the ground floor. It’s just like having a security camera but that’s it
