This is what worked for me: 1. when scanning the U.S. passport, put only the page with the picture in frame, NOT both (picture and signature pages). 2. When looking for the chip, open the cover page and put your phone to the next shiny page half way down. It found the chip right away. It did not work through the cover page. Good luck! ### 1/5 — Won’t verify ID *2025-10-23, version 7.5.884* I have tried several times to make the app work and schedule for PSI exams and they won’t allow physical verification for whatever reason. I can’t take the exam because this software won’t recognize or verify my ID so1 star id give lower but I can’t. However, after deleting and reinstalling I chose to scan my passport instead. Keep only the main page in the frame and it should go.
