Unfortunately, my iPhone is currently not working, so I have temporarily switched to an Android phone. I installed the “IELTS by IDP” app on my Android device, but I cannot find the Macquarie University course in the Prepare section to continue my studies. My IELTS test is scheduled for next week, so timely access is important. Thanks. ### 1/5 — Hidden terms: No refund for cancellation *2025-12-04* I experienced being mistreated by IDP. I booked two exams in July and then changed the exam time once. When I first contacted IDP to change the exam time, they kindly helped me change the time, but didn't remind me that my second exam couldn't be cancelled after the change. Then, when I cancelled the second exam more than a month in advance, they refused to refund. Here, I went through 4-5 days of communication, and IDP sent me a PDF document via email stating that a refund was not possible. They then repeatedly asked me to check the refund instructions on the Terms and Conditions website, which I checked at least 3 times, even taking screenshots of the details, but the document they sent in the email was not in the location they specified. Later, I filed a complaint with NSW Fair Traiding, and the result was that after FT personnel contacted them, they told me that IDP's attitude was very tough. Regardless of whether I take further arbitration, IDP's behavior constitutes unfair treatment of consumers with hidden clauses. I never thought IDP would be like this, and now I understand why everyone I know chooses PTE. **Developer response:** We are sorry to hear that you were not very happy with our services.
