## What is IELTS WordTrap?

This app is designed for memorizing vocabulary for the IELTS exam. When you come across words that are hard to remember during your study, just follow three simple steps to master them:

Enter the word and make a sentence with it.
Find a book or an object that helps you remember the word and take a photo.
Review the list. If you remember the word, click 'remembered' to increase its proficiency level. If not, you'll try again next time. Once a word reaches a 5-star proficiency level, it means you've mastered it.
The app is iPad compatible and automatically syncs across devices under the same account.

This update adds a quick vocabulary test and fixes a Recovery Mode snag:

• Added a quick "Estimate Your Vocabulary" test that maps your result to an approximate IELTS band
• Fixed an issue where finishing Recovery Mode could leave you stuck on the completion screen instead of resuming normal review
• Added pronunciation buttons to Reinforce Review, Warm-up Review, Super Memory, and word detail pages
• The app icon badge now shows today's due review count
• Improved data stability and various small refinements

This update makes finding words and long-term review smoother:

• Added a Contacts-style alphabetical index—tap or slide to jump to any initial
• Added Recovery Mode, which counts only truly overdue reviews and helps clear backlogs at a manageable pace
• Improved the review schedule to 1, 2, 4, 7, 15, 30 and 60 days, without resetting after a word becomes mastered
• Added daily and weekly focused-study time, also available on study share cards
• Fixed overdue-count inconsistencies and improved stability

This update polishes Reinforce Review:
· Words you didn't finish reinforcing now carry over to the next day instead of disappearing overnight.
· The reinforce badge count is more accurate — it matches what's actually left to practice.
· The reinforce screen shows how many words were carried over from earlier days, so you always know where you stand.

This update refines the review rhythm: newly learned words no longer repeat every single day. Reviews now expand along your memory curve — a few close repetitions at first, then gradually widening gaps — so you remember more with less effort.

· Super Memory Boost — words you keep missing are sent to AI in one batch to generate grouping, mnemonics, stories and blind-recall plans to lock them in.

· Added warm-up review and a "welcome back" prompt to get you back in the zone faster.
· Study records now show cumulative reviews/mastered, with new memory animations.
