Please fix. ### 1/5 — Awful app *2020-01-21, version 10.0.1* Poor effort. Lots of errors and problems. Typical of University of Exeter. ### 1/5 — Obsolete *2020-01-09, version 10.0.1* Absolutely pointless. The attendance feature almost never works; if you manage to log into the email system, then the inbox reloads the page constantly before you can read any emails; even the timetable seems to only work 50% of the time. Don’t bother downloading; even the staff agree it’s a waste of time. ### 1/5 — Still Terrible *2019-11-21, version 9.8.1* Can’t even log in to ELE on My Course anymore. Terrible ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2019-11-12, version 9.8.1* It’s hard to imagine an app that could be worse than this. Exeter University really need to sort this out urgently. If you’re trying to use the app to access emails you might as well not bother and just use web browser on your phone instead. Too many issues to list them all but, for example, you enter your login details, press enter, and it just takes you back to re-enter your login details (over and over). If you do get in you are likely to click on an email for it to load for a split second, and then take you back to your inbox. If you write an email, it may or may not get sent. And whatever you’re doing you’ll have a permanent blue “loading” circle in the middle of the screen. I’m a postgrad student and the app has been this bad for the 3 years I’ve been studying. Ridiculous. ### 2/5 — Attendance *2019-11-08, version 9.8.1* Despite having reinstalled the app several times I currently have 0% attendance on my record even though I go to about 90% of my lectures and seminars and always turn on Bluetooth and location. All of my seminar leaders take a paper register anyway because they know iExeter is so bad. Why can’t we just swipe cards like every other university? ### 1/5 — Recent update broke it *2019-10-28, version 9.8.1* It’s worked pretty badly for the past 3 years but the recent update has rendered it entirely unusable on my phone. Great ### 1/5 — Do something with my money guys. *2019-10-24, version 9.8.1* WORST APP EVER EXISTED ! ### 1/5 — Awful *2019-10-01, version 9.8.1* The app crashes all the time. Face ID is always required immediately, even if just switching between apps, which is annoying. The timeout for authentication should be a few minutes, not instantly. The tiles keep changing position randomly, too - please keep them in the same place! There is also no way to sync the timetable with Apple Calendar etc. This is an overall poor effort at an app. ### 1/5 — Lack of investment in IT *2019-09-30, version 9.8.1* Poor mans APP, not world class from Exeter University. ### 2/5 — Somewhat simplistic design with poor quality maintenence. *2019-09-24, version 9.8.1* This app has most of what you need but only on the off chance it works as intended. The problem is the downtime is high on an app that many are reliant on. It’s a shame.. ### 2/5 — Functionality is iffy *2019-09-24, version 9.8.1* Had to uninstall then reinstall app on my phone following a change of password. The timetable section threw a loop and repeatedly requested my password, despite having correctly entered it. Other blips as well. Annoying. ### 3/5 — cant see my timetable *2019-09-19, version 9.8.1* Everything is just great and simple However, when I want to see my timetable, I am required to type my password, which sometimes recognises and sometimes not. Annoying. ### 1/5 — I wish this was better *2019-03-08, version 8.0.8* As an MA student by correspondence I could really do with listening to lectures on the move sometimes. Nothing I do seems to work, it wants to be on a computer screen not my phone; pages don't load, it keeps crashing when I FINALLY get to the bit I need, it's just not friendly AT ALL. Gutted, I'm sure my fees should cover a decent phone app. ### 1/5 — Rubbish *2018-10-10, version 8.0.8* Load of crap... crashes every time I open it, have to restart phone to actually make the thing work. Go back to version 7 please! The iexeter app has stopped working and possibly is being phased out. ### 1/5 — horrible *2023-07-26, version 10.41.2* i really need it for my job but i can’t use because it asks for login and password ALL THE TIME MULTIPLE TIMES ### 1/5 — Terrible *2023-07-20, version 10.41.2* Constantly, repeatedly have to input login details during use of this app, sometimes multiple times in a row before even reaching the next screen. ### 1/5 — Dr *2023-05-26, version 10.41.2* App logs me out of email after a few seconds. Fix this immediately. Impacts business critical events and international travel. ### 1/5 — Email Completely Broken *2023-04-04, version 10.37.1* For some reason, since Christmas the email client has been continually refreshing itself so hard that it drops you out of any email that you’re trying to read within about fifteen seconds of opening it. Even worse, now it’s gotten to the point where it logs you out every minute as well, and needs two or three attempts to log back in again. ### 1/5 — not worth it, use a browser *2021-09-21, version 10.17.0* terrible app. more than half the features don’t work, including attendance/checking in. you’re better off using the desktop version of the app and leaving this spaghetti coded nightmare off your phone. ### 1/5 — Useless *2020-04-13, version 10.2.3* There is almost no point having this app on my phone. The two main things I would use it for - accessing ELE and registering attendance - don’t work at all, so I’m hardly ever checked in to lectures when my attendance is actually very high, and if I want to use ELE, I just use my browser instead.
