iFaraid adalah aplikasi pintar yang dibangunkan untuk memudahkan umat Islam dalam membuat pembahagian harta warisan dan wasiat atau harta pusaka berdasarkan hukum Faraid.  

Aplikasi ini juga direka supaya umat Islam lebih memahami struktur dan cara pembahagian faraid supaya generasi akan datang tidak lupa serta kaedah pembahagian harta yang berlandaskan syarak terus diabaikan.

Pegertian Faraid
Menurut istilah syarak, Faraid adalah pembahagian harta seorang Islam yang telah meninggal dunia sama ada beliau meninggalkan wasiat atau tidak sebelum kematiannya. Maka harta peninggalannya akan dibahagikan kepada ahli warisnya (seperti  anak, isteri, suami, ibu dan sebagainya) menurut hukum Islam.

Harta yang dibahagikan kepada ahli waris adalah baki harta yang ditinggalkan setelah ditolak segala pembiayaan pengurusan jenazah, hutang pewaris (zakat, nazar, dan sebagainya) dan wasiat yang dibenarkan oleh syarak (tidak melebihi 1/3 dari jumlah harta)

"Daripada Abi Hurairah ra berkata, Sabda Rasulallah SAW: Hendaklah kamu mempelajari Ilmu Faraid dan ajarkanlah akannya, kerana ia adalah setengah ilmu, ia adalah dilupakan dan ia adalah sesuatu yang mula dicabutkan dari umatku".
